GREAAAT REVIEW, thank you so much. I am planning on buying a laptop but still hesitating btw the MSI GS75 and alienware m17 (i've seen a lot complaining abt its cooling system though) ? Which one would you recommend?
Same boat as you....Debating btw MSI, Digital Storm, Alienware (I have an older one) and Origin. I've read that MSI has horrible support, possibly the worst. Alienware (Dell) and Apple have excellent... Hard decision. But, I feel any tech device can and will fail eventually...Having tech support and a good warranty is priceless.
I got mine a week ago. This thing is amazing. I threw some liquid metal on the GPU and CPU, fujipoly pads, undervolted and overclocked it. This thing does NOT break 80C via GPU and rarely brakes 70C via CPU while gaming (Anthem, Metro Exodus, FFXV tested). Minimal light bleeding, little coil whine (that has gone away 99%), and the chassis is CONSIDERABLY more stronger than even the 2019 GS65. I am keeping this bad boy forever!
J. Earon W. How's the built quality? I don't care about premium feel.. seeing the flexes on this thing.. I'm just scared it might break with a little too pressure. Do share your views.
Lalit Rathore As stated above, the chassis is considerably more stronger than the GS65, even compared to the 2019 version. Yes, there is flex if you bend / push hard enough on the chassis. This isn’t a Razer Blade 15 that has a single block of aluminum. The aluminum is however thicker and way more sturdier than I would’ve imagined. It’s well above passable by my standards, which are quite strict. I will be keeping this until they make a newer version that potentially (rumors) rivals the “single block of aluminum” style of the RB15.
Lalit Rathore if you apply HARD amounts of pressure then it will flex a bit, but it’s very well reinforced and the plastic doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap like last years model. The hinges also don’t allow the screen to wobble as bad as I thought it would, however I took the liberty to open up the chassis, put a bit of epoxy on each hinge to strengthen them for future use. Works like a charm!
Gente he...if you don't mind me asking. Where did you ordered yours? I really want this bad MOFO but I don't know where to order it from. Thanks and great reviews as always.

The fire strike benchmark doesn’t demonstrate the actually performance of the rtx cards, timespy does a better job. Secondly, something reviewers don’t touch on is dual vs single channel ram, as you could see it only had one ram slot populated, this can actually decrease performance by as much as 30% on certain games, if you decide to get one, get dual channel ram!

This laptop is a whole ass disappointment bro. I had an alienware m17 2070 but it started giving me lots of issues within just a few days so I returned it and got my money back. I looked at this and many clerks recommended it, I looked at a few reviews before I bought it and it looked very good, only issue was since the Alienware was on sale for 2.1k I had to add about 200 to get this laptop. I brought it home and noticed very low performance in csgo for example, then I saw people say how it didn’t have dual channel ram which I auto assumed it would but ig not. I think I will he taking this back too and just sticking with my desktop. :(
@@sarahdrakengard9438 i hated it, for 2300 i should be getting something that should get well over 60 fps in most games. i returned it, got the better performing and more storage alienware m17 and got 200 dollars back so i couldnt be happier. but im glad the msi is good for you, just wasnt what i was expecting for the price ig,
Were you playing in sport mode, or did you set Dragon center to comfort? I stick to sport so that it only clocks up a little bit when I play intense games. Plus I was looking for an everything use machine with an elegant look. I understand what you mean though, But in most cases, if I game on the go, I don't worry about the top of the line settings. But on a desktop, I would be upset if it didn't look like it came from a 20 series card. TBH, I think I am in the minority when I say that I like the max q design, even though it isn't the full version. I almost would have went with the m17 as well if it wasn't for the elegant design.
if you don't really care about the looks or getting an extra few hours of battery life, get the ge75. it is a much more capable machine. the display, keyboard are the same. the big trackpad on the gs75 makes it a bit annoying to type with. the ge75 feels much more sturdier as well IMO.

Come on man. At least do a proper gaming benchmark for a gaming laptop. This was just lazy.
Than you buy it and make one mr. Entitled viewer.
damn that's LOUD!!!!
I own thatone. Actually fan noise isn't too bad :) There are rpm tweak options aswell
How much for the GS75 RTX 2070 ?

Think vr is a possibility on this
MSI MAKES SEXY ASS LAPTOPS.
The fans a radial so they suck from under the computer and exhaust trough the side and back vents.

Working perfect for me, Even before I upgraded the ram to Dual Channel. oh well....
You must had the 8 gen cpu because I heard the 9th grm cpus have dual channel ram
I still can't decide between GE75 RTX 2080 and GS75 RTX 2080. GE is just a bit heavier but it's not the problem for me.
if you don't really care about the looks or getting an extra few hours of battery life, get the ge75. it is a much more capable machine. the display, keyboard are the same. the big trackpad on the gs75 makes it a bit annoying to type with. the ge75 feels much more sturdier as well IMO.
@@KumaMech Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Your answer quite helps me a lot. However the price is very aggressive in EU.. but I'll order a GE very soon.
No Thunderbolt 3 on the GE75.😡 That is a deal breaker for me. Why can’t one laptop have everything I want for $2?!😜
@@vfplayer thunderbolt is nice to have as a unified docking solution and/or for multimonitor setups... but the amount of overhead thunderbolt 3 needs on current devices for graphics dock, is going to end up resulting in less performance using a thunderbolt graphics dock, relative to using the built in rtx 2070 in a ge75. many people reporting that they are only getting 1060 performance from a 1080ti when using a thunderbolt graphics dock. the findings for the poor graphics dock performance made me personally care less about thunderbolt 3... paired with the expense of graphics docks.
I still have my GS-72 but I'm eyeing a new one w/TB3.. #djrtnyc
GE 75 is better i feel like
I am poor
Can't afford
Can you give me this?
ayeee pacific rim lol!
*Try to hold the damn camera steady next time, sjeez!* 😡
Heard of this thing called "TRIPOD" ? It's made so that people don't get seasick watching amateurs shooting video.
Give it to me
Great machine with the worst screen I ever seen, massive ble3from the screen yellow color in the corners and overall a loooow bright display
check this out @
GTX 1070 is still faster then a RTX 2070 Max-Q and only a few frames less then a RTX 2070, so the 500$ cap isn´t worth!
Jay ́s Gaming Place if we talk about the laptop versions of the GPUs.. 2070 kicks the butt of 1080 . You must have confused it with desktop GPU 1070.
Msi box game weak
I make 0$a month lol xd
mine laptop mobo dies right after buy :( MSI is one piece of crap
Can anyone help me? I cant decide either to get the msi gs75 with 2060 rtx, the rog strix scar II with 2070 rtx, the lenovo legion y740 with 2060 rtx or the msi ge75 with 2070 rtx
i giving msi gs75 back as i found it weak battery life and when i ran final fantasy windows edition the frame rate was so bad also with forza horizon 4 i had to turn down the graphic settings to average to get the frame rate higher so i wouldn't go for msi gs75 id prob go with whatever you feel tbh if u want the rog strix scar 2 go for it but like i said this is all up to you whatever your gut thinks get it lol
@@admiralv8538 Weak battery and bad framerates - what did you compare the GS75 with?
@@Ahldor nothing man but i gave it back got my refund il wait for better laptops i did like it tho but if i want msi i prob go with GE series instead or something but like i said il wait for the right time.

@@admiralv8538 i just got my GS75 and I tried a few games already. I had to change to Performance mode in MSI dragon center, and change the windows energy setttings to maximum power to get the games to eork fine. I suggest you look at those settings.
