    It's no surprise that Corsican traps are not really seen anymore - having the stage shutter moving independently of the diagonal platform looks like a recipe for an injury!

      Yes...but I think since it's manually operated they can stop it immediately if something goes awry.

    Great to come across this blog. I worked with Graham on a few productions.
    Salford Victoria (Dark for many years) has one ore trap more than the Gaiety. Opened by Henry Irving and Bram Stoker
    Sadly nobody wants to know? It is still saveable. The owner is Patrick Duffy.
