As a past Product Manager for Reloop DJ in Canada, I was always excited to see you teasing the use of Reloop products like the Mixtour and was patiently waiting for the day you jumped onto their gear officially. I've dealt with artist agreements before and many people don't realize that it isn't about money for artists like you. It always end up being about the craft and the art itself.

Perfect politically correct answer. Being that you yourself is a Brand Ambassador to Denon DJ maybe you can make sense as to his reasoning for leaving. He claims he wanted Denon to implement Stems but they didn't want to go that route yet as soon as he leaves they announce Stems Beta for Prime 4+ which means it must've been already in the works.

Nice and very interesting! I just got some slack from a good friend of mine that I sold out and ditched vinyl and the 1200 from back in the 80’s-90’s, and I became a softee DJ with controllers. I just got back to DJing in 2022 and jumped on the new technology (learning curve like how to tie my shoes again).
But I embrace the new gear and technology because it’s made it easier for me to make edits and mix a certain way and I finally learned how to use the cue points lol.
I see this video and it makes so much sense, I may have to try reloop gear to DJ with my iPhone to start having it as a back and move it to my preferred gear for future events. Thank you for this video Luke! Blessings to you always! Here’s to more videos and to more innovation inspirations!

It took me a while to realize this while there was a surge in digital djing... but all that matters is what comes out of the speakers. The crowd doesnt care what you dj with or how you do it. The only people who care are other djs. And I love my fellow djs, but I dont dj for other djs. I dj to entertain crowds. So, if it sounds good coming out of the speakers, DO IT!

I didn't have access to gear and didn't wanna buy an entire set up not knowing how i'd actually make out with it after trying. I came across the djay app and it lit the fire. Years later im doing gigs, recording mixes and having an awesome time with it. I don't blame you one bit for trying new things even if it's not popular. The future of dj'ing in my opinion isn't only with what you're saying but also starting to happen more often in VR....once the mixed reality technology takes off where you can see your equipment better, then things are really gonna change and you'll see even more people like myself get into the art. The proof is in your craft though, there's no need to explain every move you make. I've been a big fan for a long time

Summary of a very talented but money-driven brand ambassador (with unfortunately questionable integrity) who has bet on the wrong horse for the last 8 years. I am very sorry Luke, I used to look up to you but using a knock-off of AKAI's 10 year-old modular controller in front of 60K+ people with a 6 inch iPhone (just because you "liked the idea") is disrespectful towards the craft and the crowd in my book.

I have Pioneer CDJ, Denon mixer and Reloop neon, with Virtual DJ. It isn't about the brands but choosing your equipment for your needs and DJ style.

Yes, I feel the point here. I am also pushing into a direction, most people don't like. But this is where I'm headed at and I don't care.
