    Ha! Turns out I have 2 duo pieces! Both rhinestone (or glass?), both deco-ish I’ve had them for years and had no clue why they were designed to come apart…In truth, I didn’t discover that feature until 2 years ago! Thank you, once again.

      Glad you found it worthwhile. Coro was one of the largest during the mid-century.

    Great info. Have you ever seen Coro stamped twice? Once on the clasp and once on the back of brooch with two different stamps. One with copyright and one without. Or is it a fake? Thanks again for all your knowledge!

    thanks great info. made me go back and look at a necklace i have listed. realized it is the 1940's thick script. didn't realize when i listed it that there is no copyright and i have it listed way to cheap. only seen 2 other examples in green.mines is a light blue teal color and has that cooper patina. its a well made piece

      Just google Coro jewelry advertisements, you'll see many. I have a long list of the videos that have been requested.

    I have a beautiful round signed Coro Rhinestone Brooch!😀
    Unfortunately, I've lost two of the medium round blue-green outer rhinestones and one of the smaller sapphire blue stones and one of the tiny emerald green stones😔😔😔
    Is there any where I can find the replacements?
    The blue stones have a beautiful blue-green center.

      Denise, Stones that are not prong set may fall out. mrstones.com has all the right stone replacements and glue to ensure they stay put. It's easy.

    Good video! I have some of my grandmother’s costume jewelry and a couple of earrings that there is only one of. They are very pretty but I am not sure what to do with them. Any suggestions?

    • @chapelhillvintagejewels
      @chapelhillvintagejewels  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard question. Many creative people repurpose their single earrings into new jewelry creations, I am not that creative. I just search for the other! Thank you for watching.

      Chapel Hill Vintage Jewels Figure out a way to hang a single earring from a pretty chain. Do not change or damage the earring. That is what I do. I get so many compliments.

    Does ebay really have accurate prices? Do they show what it actually sold for?

    • @chapelhillvintagejewels
      @chapelhillvintagejewels  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to go to the advanced area of an ebay search, just look for the word Advanced at the end of the search line. Then select sold items and you will get a chronological list of all that was sold and exact prices. Price listed doesn't really help, sold listings do!

    I have a 19 thirties to 1940s charm bracelet all original brass. Can you give me a ballpark about what this would cost?

    • @chapelhillvintagejewels
      @chapelhillvintagejewels  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are too many variables to give estimates without seeing jewelry in person. Your best bet is to go to eBay and do a search of items SOLD, not listed. Easy to do in eBay with an advanced search.
