    I wish my bolts came loose that easy.

      We can't show you all the nuances and problems with replacements, it's all individual, and not always possible to solve them at home. To avoid this, we always recommend that replacements are carried out at specialist workshops.

      Thank you for your comment!
      The caliper piston is pressed in and rotates gradually with the help of special squeeze tool which our mechanic uses.
      Stay tuned with us!

    hi there would this be the same as to do on the front

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the feedback!Yes, the procedure is not fundamentally different, but we strongly recommend you to carry out the work that is related with the brake system of the car only on a certified service station.

    Don't you believe in using a torque wrench, blue thread lock and brake grease? not to mention copper slip or lithium grease. Maybe Ive been doing it wrong for the last 45 years!

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your feedback! To save the time in the video some stages of the repairs might have been excluded.. In practice the torque wrench should be used. All these procedures should be carried out. Best Regards, Autodoc.

      Agreed, some anti-seize on the hub and lubing the caliper pins,pad backing plates and slides etc. is a must.. especially in the UK. I do understand though that in the interests of making the video as short as possible, this is more of an overview. Thanks for the video!
