Hi, I Extract excel files every Friday and save it on the Shared Drive.
As part of my Alteryx Solution, I have 2 Inputs tools, 1 which reads/imports the Last Friday's Excel File and the other Input tool which reads /Imports the Current Week Friday's data.
So , How do i configure the above workflow which you mentioned so that , My Alteryx Workflow extracts the excel files accordingly as i have mentioned

Thanks for the amazing video and useful information. But I ran into a problem when my excel file had more than 1 worksheet. In this video you have not explained how to specify worksheet name from the source file to Dynamic input node , hence I get error "No table chosen; Please select a table from datasource". Please explain how I can specify which worksheet the workflow has to consider while executing, if there are more than 1 worksheets.
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks very much for the video! It really helps a lot! A quick Q about the directory tool, does it have to be pointing to full path with C:\.. at times the workflow needs to be shared with people and at work it all comes with an username in the path and will get an error even if the folder is shared with full write and read rights..

You can alternatively use the same folder to read all the Input files and save the output files. For this, you have to save the workflow in the same folder and in that case you need to only name the files without mentioning any path. Hope this helps.

when selecting tools you say we need these and these tools but not why we need these tools individually to show why our selection is suitable for what use
