Very original, entertaining, great fun performance, perfect rhythm and technique! Love everything about it , including the two charming young pianists!
I've never seen such a configuration for two-piano playing. The bravura performance was marred by fishbowl acoustics. Hopefully, these pianists re-recorded this ragtime suite in a studio.
I don't think 4 hands versions (one or two pianos) offer any important advantage on their counterparts of 2 hands, in most works. One single piano/guy can do the same in most cases, and without need of coordinating, or the effect of dependability on the other guy. That is, better in terms of musicality and expression. This can be seen better in more expressive - less rythmical works like, for example, Guastavino's "las niñas de Santa Fe", where we can see the players more busy trying to perform in identical tempo, rallentando, etc., in comparison with two hands version... and the price is payed in terms of expression. Nice interpretation, however, of these two guys.
Beautifull position back to back ... and of course excellent music. Great ! Love the choreography too ... Brilliant and fun, love it.

엄청난 감동입니다~♡
This is amazing performance and a great composition too
Interesting, as Bolcom always is. What a pity the performance had to be so poorly recorded. I assume such sound was not deliberate.

Some tracks need two pianos, one for bass chords and one for main complex melody.
