Alied Jinan was a great partner. Wow. Seems rare to find good players like that. Trenlass and the Jinan carried this for sure.
Funnily enough, Franz Xaver Josef Conrad von Hötzendorf , the WW1 Field Marshal of Austro-Hungary lost out to Trenlass for fourth place because no one in Austria could figure out who he was.
It seems TimeGhost Army's reverse-popularity campaign did not work.

That's a fat steaming joke I'm this game, this community@@GrasshopperKelly there is no class of ship more handicapped than submarines, u-4501 is no exception. I just watched a replay from top tier that featured a Sinjo deal 346k game from his spawn point on Hotspot. Both those submarine players had to get close and personal to deal that damage. Mind you regardless of almost hitting 2.5k xp on a defeat, the U-4501 Driver only managed to pull off two sinkings.

@@Try_Again_Bragg He's still streaming, and he still puts WoWS videos out on YT. Recently he's been doing challenges; buy a packet of challenges for things like "Play standing up" "Use two consumables now" etc.

I have actually been to the *factory* the glocks come from, when a factory worker managed to "shoot" himself in the foot (well, not with a bullet, the sled expelled some manufacturing "waste" metal or whatever - I'm not a gunsmith) with an only partially assembled gun because he thought he could disregard the instructions for his position in the assembly line. I thought the man was glad we came to save his life - but he was just happy that we put a pause on the chewing out he got *while bleeding out* from his supervisor.

Bruh... Australia has a vast majority of the worlds beef imports. Australia exports almost more beef than the USA. Its pretty good, though I think US Angus tastes just a bit better.

It is sad, when even a Euro doesn't know the difference. I know they do but when Auto Text goes to 'Straya, they are thinking "That looks about right.". Where the Glocks come from is a solid statement for Americans.

I think WoW's experience calculation deserves more credit than even Jingles did here. It does an absolutely awesome job of estimating my contribution to a battle. In addition to the weights for damage on low-hp ships, that same rule seems to apply to spotting damage on low-hp ships. Further, damage done early in the battle appears to weigh more than damage done late. I also suspect that capping in a battleship or cruiser is worth more than capping with a destroyer. It really is an excellent system... Except for Submarines. I don't know what it does for them. I've seen matches where subs have gotten crazy amounts of XP when it wasn't clear to me that they really swayed the battle at all.
At this day and age where 457mms are so common, getting to a match like this is a Des Moines' wet dream, most of the time you'd get citadeled through the nose by a BB 19 km away xD Having great teammates like in this game really does push the Des Moines to it's full DPM potential too, being able to shoot comfortably in smoke like that
Base XP calculation for subs is so broken that it's completely ridiculous. Props to Trennie's smokebot for being a team player.

Civ is a great game, always "just one more turn, then bed". My brother was having one of those moments and made the decision that real life stuff needed to get done; opened the disk drive, took out the CD (it was a long time ago) and snapped it in half. He bought a used copy afew months later.
Trenlass is the GOAT. His videos are absolutely worth watching.

Mozart was German. He was born in Salzburg (today Austria) which was part of Bavaria in 1756.
It's a bit (well, actually a whole lot) more complicated than that. At the time of Mozart's birth in 1756, Salzburg was the capital of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, an ecclesiastic principality in the Holy Roman Empire. This was an independently governed territory within the Empire, under a prince-archbishop. Although its borders were broadly the same as the modern-day state of Salzburg in Austria, it was part of neither Bavaria, Austria nor Germany. These entities were established shortly or well after Mozart's death in 1791.

I like Trenlass because he's good but always acknowledges that there are Many players much better than he is. He seems down to Earth.

Wow, a WOW match that contained three standout players at once!
Big part of the reason the sub's XP was that high is because WG have a special sub XP formula, which gives more XP for doing sub type things, it isn't like for like.
Also Jinan has ship based ASW Jingles! Unfortunately there was very little chance of him catching and sinking the sub at the end,
I don’t have many tier 10 ships, but one of them is the Des Moines. In one of the first games I played with it I remember getting another Des Moines broadside, he didn’t see me first and I took him out from full health in either two or three salvos … so about 15 seconds ish … his comment was… “well, that was fast” 😂

Jingles, always love your videos. Could I ask you to seek out a Rodney or Nelson replay sometime soon ... as a reason to discuss their 6-inch secondaries? I discovered today that their 6-inch guns had a range of 25,000+ yards, and that at the paltry 5,000 metres given by WG in World of Warships, their gun elevation would be 0.5 degrees - essentially a direct aim at the target.
They ask how us Americans cope with some of the best weapons manufacturers being foreign. We cope by actually being able to own them.

Jingles, you may be aware, but the base XP modifiers are inflated for subs to disguise the thr fact that they have very little impact on matches and their average damage tends to be low. You can pretty much sail around at periscope depth and spot, do 20k damage and get a 2k XP game in a high tier sub.

I think the U-4501 might have launched the torpedo spread that ruined the Salmon's day and allowed the Jean Bart to finish it off with depth charges... About 9:18, I think? the friendly Salmon takes a torpedo and loses 80% of its remaining hitpoints.
two things:
1st: 2341 base xp in a loss - thats over 3500 base xp with the 50% victory modifier...
2nd: by the time Mozart was born, Salzburg technically wasn't part of Austria but Bavaria, which makes Mozart a german (yes, Bavaria was part of the Holy Roman Empire at that time).
But I give the austrians their Mozart and Salzburg, since the last witch in Salzburg was burned in 1750 - 6 years before Mozart was born 💩

Whether Mozart is Austrian depends on how you look at things. He was born in Salzburg, a part of Austria TODAY, but when he was born, it was its own Bishopdom (think Kingdom but with a Bishop instead of a King). And independent state. Only after Napoleon rushed over Europe, he added Salzburg to Bavaria, later it got added to Austria, but at that point, Mozart was long gone.
However during his life, Mozart became a citizen of Vienna, which IS in Austria, even if the rest of Austria wishes they weren´t ;)
I played the U190 sunday, got 3 kills. Was the only one in the team to get kills... no surprise when i say we lost
As far as I know, sub BXP is still massively inflated, so don't draw any unwarranted conclusions from the enemy team's scoreboard leader.

Yeah, with that kind of BXP I wouldn't be surprised if that sub did entire 50k dmg overall. That's how dented subs BXP inflation is. You can easily break 1k from hitting pings alone while doing f all.
Then the friendly subs really, really sucked lol.

If I was that last enemy sub and knowing it was a loss no matter what. I would've just given that Jinan the kraken in all honesty. But I do that in ANY ship when I know it's a loss no matter what. Just no point saving the HP for the next match lol
U4501 - WG incentives playing subs. He did well, but it is pretty clear that Subs get a generous EXP curve compared to other ships.

Don't get fooled by the numbers! Submarines gets 1k xp just for entering the battle, another 1k to participate capturing an objective.
That guy did nothing much but some damage by 1 or 2 torp hits, and an assist capture for that 2k base xp.
While most submarine players are idiots, the fact that this submarine player survived to the end of the battle demonstrates he's smarter than most. Also, he did account for most of the damage done to both submarines on Trenlass's team, and damage to other ships as well.
@@NRSGuardian True, no doubt about that. But I didn't try to diminish his achievements in this battle. I only stated that the submarine players gets to earm more xp in battles in general.
