Thank you for the clear video specially with the explanation of the washers on the front shocks.

Please learn how to time lapse your work. Cutting to the finished results is not as interesting. Your content is great just wished it showed the actual work. Thanks

Really great to see that you are doing a proper build with this car. I have a 06 330i today and just came back from the calder park track today.
You videos are giving me motivation to go knee deep in a build.
I am just a bit scared because it has done 200k kms😅

      Thanks 😁
Mine is on 127k miles, and out the same as yours and it’s great. Just make sure you service it regularly, overhaul the cooling system and it’s good to go. Ring freaks and Jacos paddock race them and hire them out to use at Nurburgring, they’re really quite good 👍🏻

BMW's are great if they are maintained well. I have a 06 E92 335i with 250k+ KMs as a daily and never had any major problems.

Yes i just did my second track day in winton and saw an n52 with 400k miles on it.
Seeing this i have decided to slowly turn my one into a dedicated track car. Doing a weight reduction first before anything. Everything in my car is bone stock now.

Awesome video, thanks for posting. I intend to complete the same setup as you upfront, although for an e91. Can you explain the purpose of removing the pin on the mount and what geometry are you now running at the front please.

Nice video! If you are changing everything on the front, why not take the whole assembly out?
Also what camber angle did you finally used for the front? having -1.5 degrees is quite a good value IMO. Not sure why you have to adjust it.

Do you have part # for the m3 control arms upgrade?

This video is all I needed as I'll change my shock absorbers during my Christmas hodilays. Thank you.
I have a question. My car is a E92 with the M sport suspension.
I'm hesitant between buying only B8 shocks or a B12 Kit and refresh the springs during the operation.
Do you know if the B12 kit will seat it lower or higher than the factory M suspension ?
    Thank you.

      @vysgarage  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

I’d recommend b12 kit as it’s b8 dampers with eibach springs. Factory springs need huge amount of pre load, thus they are a nightmare to install. Eibach springs are naturally stiffer so don’t need much pre load and are easier to install. Ride heigh wise, I think they are about the same as m sport, maybe few mm lower but it’s not really noticeable.

      Thanks for answering.
To what I understand, you're saying the Eibach in the B12 kit are stiffer.
In free state, they are shorter than factory M sport ones. They are therefore easier to install as the "compression travel" is shorter. But this also means stiffer and I don't want my E92 becoming too harsh on the road. I like it's actual comfort.

If the ground clearance didn't change much before / after the B12 installed. It's more likely it was an M sport suspension.
