After so many seasons I stopped feeling bad for her Clark told her senior year he didn't feel that way about her & she said she understood he was still hooked on Lana & at the same time slowly becoming attracted to her cousin Lois. Yes, Chloe spent years of pain and misery pining for Clark, but that was the fault of the writers who were too cowardly at the time to move on from Lana because they felt obligated to Kristen Kreuk. But Lana also gave Clark nothing but pain and misery, and the moments he shared with Chloe had far more intimacy and depth than anything he had with Lana.

@@catspaw3092 Sorry, but even the writers themselves admitted that they made a mistake dragging out the Clark/Lana storyline. Clark/Chloe were the heart and soul of the show, and after the kiss between Clark and Chloe in the season 5 finale, Vessel, you could tell that there was far more than just friendship between Clark and Chloe. Yes, Chloe spent years of pain and misery pining for Clark, but that was the fault of the writers who were too cowardly at the time to move on from Lana because they felt obligated to Kristen Kreuk. But Lana also gave Clark nothing but pain and misery, and the moments he shared with Chloe had far more intimacy and depth than anything he had with Lana.
@@44excalibur you forget to mention that at the tail end of season 1 Clark did start to have Feelings for Chloe and she was the one who told him it's okay if they stayed friends therefore putting herself in the friend zone. i never got that even if that wasn't end game for the show we all know it wasn't even before Lois joined the show it would have been nice seeing them together in season 2 for awhile at least.

I was sad when they couldn't be together.. But eventual Louis grew on me, at least the Smallville version of Louis.
Smallville Lois was much better than the others. And if you watched the full series you can tell that Lois and Clark had much more chemistry even before they were a couple then Lana and Clark did.
Lana and Clark were so perfect for each other.. And Louis and Clark had no chemistry in the beginning.. was like an older sister for him at first. :/ But, eventually, the chemistry, and her character development, grew on us, and Clark.
