A very personal and idiosyncratic collection and one which I thoroughly enjoyed and particularly good because of the fact that the images are presented in a clear and static format without any of the needless buggering about with them that makes some of other collections here so unwatchable.
My 3 favorite Science Fiction art books are: 1) Icon by Frank Frazetta. 2) Wonderworks by Michael Whelan 3) Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy by Tim Gibson. Futuristic jets, what's not to like?
If not for politics, and corrupt corporations who just want profit and to keep the status quo and not take chances, we could have had a world like Jetsons. Its the private entrepreneurs , like Musk and others, that want to get to the stars.
Remember the Terran Trade Authority books? They had a whole series of science fiction and space art books.
