Don’t forget to read the instruction for the first setup process. The reason it took so long the first time is because there was a step you missed that required a trial run/ first time step to cleanse the Keurig. After that first step, it should run normally.
yes it has a carbon filter...when my kuric stops filling my cup all the way I take the resiviour off dump it out and spray the screen below it and then take the carbon filter out and hose it down with the sprayer on the sink and it back to normal
If you're using bottled or filtered water, no. But it's recommended (not required) if you are using faucet water to help prevent calcium deposits from building up in the machine.

Can't make them outright....just different flavors of coffee. But I suppose you could add hot frothing milk afterwords...but it's just designed for adding hot water to ground coffee.
