- Clay was born with no legs, no left arm and only part of a right arm, yet he earns his living fishing the FLW professional bass tour. How he does it is described in this video. He overcomes his obstacles to live his dream.
I like how he referred to his condition as "this sort of physical build," rather than "my disability." That's an unbelievably positive outlook on his life!

His handicap is what made him today, without it he would not be able to tie knots with his mouth or be able to caste with his neck, he would be a good normal fishier with a different outlook on life

Good Morning. I am a 65 year old woman and getting ready to enter a new sport with aspirations of some day going to the National's. Riding horses has been a life long dream. I purchased my first horse 3 years ago. Many asked what I was going to do with my horse. After looking at the different types of riding, I fell in love with "cutting. As a beginner rider 3 years ago, most people think I am crazy to do this.My heart, my passion and my love are of horses and now I begin this the sport of cutting. My friend blessed me with watching this video of Clay Dyer. Wow, Clay you are an amazing inspiration. When I make it to the Nationals I will send you an invitation. Even if you dont come, know that you were part of what made me not quit! FISH ON!!

Me and Clay used to go to church together he was really nice then I had to move I was kinda depressed because he was my inspiration I still to this day miss him.

I was told about Clay by a 15 yo young lady who has taken an interest in fishing through her father and has become quite good at it. What an amazing story and testimony. We all need to learn from his determination and face our futures with our heads held high and on our knees to thank our Lord for all that he has given us!

Thank you for giving me hope I’ve lost function in my right hand due to stretched nerves. I put fishing line on my reel and pole got the hook tied off ready to go with just my left hand and mouth learning how to continue life not letting it slow me down wish I had worked with my left more from the start of life as much as my right.
