Mobb Deep were nobody’s Studio Gangsta’s their songs were mostly about their everyday life in Queensbridge Projects, if it sounded Gangsta then it is what it is! But they never claimed drug kingpin, or heads of deep criminal organization, just their lives over hardcore beats and were categorized as gangsters and when you grow up your early teens running in the Projects can be a tough existence and they rapped about that but there was Nothing studio about them….. and I’m pretty tired of people acting like at some point you become street harden any mention of your childhood innocence means you were never tough because as a 7yr old you played with Hot Wheels or perform in a school version of Nutcracker then you couldn’t be tough as an adult , guess JayZ was an 11yr old Baller right? GTFOH!
JayZ slick ass pulled one of the biggest distraction in Hip Hop Mobb Deep were on the front line of the East v West beef feeling the full wrath of Pac and still headed West to do shows while heroic JayZ whom said nothing during wartime gets busy shooting his mouth off after the fact , that was the real beef that JayZ was some where hiding in a Brooklyn closet then emerges talkin shit when the smoke cleared that’s why Prodigy couldn’t stand his ass an called him out for it!

Thank you, this was nostalgic to say the least. I could say so much about certain albums and the memories it brings with it!!! I would like to say that that last album from Prodigy had some amazing songs on it and helped me through tough times dealing with the loss of my brother a few months before Rip. Prodigy's passing naturally hit me hard too, it sounded like bullshit at first I couldn't believe It. On another note this may sound crazy to some lol but I keep my head up alot and on more than one occasion, I've seen a green falling light almost like a shooting star but in the atmosphere! It appears to be falling from space could be anything but who knows it was definitely a ufo to me. I was just thinking maybe Prodigy seen the same thing from his window!!! Rip Prodigy "It's A Spiritual War" I think I'm go listen to it now!!!

Didn’t know they had been so fucking dodgy! Shooting an A and R man. Killer Black mentioned on The Infamous. What an album that was. Never mind Shook One’s II. Tunes like , Right back at you,The Start of your Ending,Eye for an Eye and Survival of The Fittest are fucking bangers. “ Banging Nas, Mobb Deep and Wu”. Thank goodness for Loud records and Steve Rifkind. Havoc producing joints at 17 years old. One of my favourite albums of all time , follow up pretty good too Hell on Earth. QBC.
