- Unlock the Secret to Never Forgetting Piano Pieces: 🎹 Have you ever stumbled across a piano in public, perhaps in a train station or airport, excited to see it just sitting there waiting to be played but despite practising for weeks or months still thought, hmmm what shall I play, do I know this well enough, I don’t have the music with me... In today's video, we're going to address this dilemma and help you build a memory library for your piano repertoire.
💡 In this tutorial, we'll discuss the concept of a memory library, divided into three sections: Current Repertoire, Banked Classics, and the Ultimate Collection. Your goal is to move pieces from the current repertoire to the banked classics and ultimately to the ultimate collection.
📚 Building your memory library is crucial to never forgetting a piece of music again. We'll explore the reasons pieces often get lost in the shuffle and how to prevent that.

This is me, literally. Thank You indeed. Both with the piano and the guitar.🙏🎶🎹🎸
Yes, I attributed my poor memory to my age (76) but I find out that this is a common problem. So frustrating having to relearn a piece that 8 months ago was right at my fingertips (pun intended). Seems like relearning helps to solidify it. Thank you for the advice. (Need to do more dusting).
Good luck with it!
As always, your video structure is well organized. Thanks for making this video. It's exactly what I'm looking for.
Thanks for your clear advice, much appreciated. The index finger method is a new one for me looking forward to trying it.
