Also if you make a keyboard over 165 db it turns really quiet after a couple keystrokes

Now that purple one is what ive been looking for in a keyboard for years, the sound of mechanical keyboards is what has really kept me away from them. For me i dont really care about tactile feel, i dont mind the mushyness of a membrane key, but damn those are nice.

I love the keycaps! I really want those, now! lol I am running kaihl speed copper switches. I like how they sound, but those switches you used... Sheesh! So damn quiet! lol Also, the nimbleback is my most favorite keyboard to modify. It has so much potential, with such a small form factor. :D

it’s impressive as a diy project! but i cannot understand why anyone would want to use these tbh. granted, this is coming from someone who unironically thinks the keyboard from ur loudest keyboard video was “not that bad, maybe fun to use”.
for me the whole point of a mechanical keyboard is that it should be loud because it’s like a little challenge to make you type faster to make it go clckckckckckckck and get that sweet audio feedback for being productive lol. pushing keys with clicky switches is one of the few things that lights up the reward circuit in my brain lol.
also that red silicone! that’s good stuff! great choice! platinum cure and easy to work with lol. i wasn’t expecting a crossover between two of my niche interests, keyboards AND molding/casting materials, oh wow what a neat video :D

I'm guessing the video edits took 10 hours on their own, excellent production and effects!
