2 mod 5 =2 step 1-> divide 2 by 5 => 2/5=0.8 step2-> 0.8 has two parts the whole and the other right to decimal point (x.y) x=0 and y=8 step3-> multiply the whole part -> 0*5=0 step4-> subtract it 2-0=2 if someone didnt get how 2 mod 5=2 this may help him 😊

In division we should subtract the dividend by a number which the smaller than dividend. In this case when we move in negative direction -10 < -5 so -8 / 5 (-8 = 5*(-2)+2) so 2 is the remainder.moreover remainder should always greater than 0 and less than divisor . Hope you understand bye.
