you ever replace the fuel pressure regulator in the tank for a California emissions cobalt? I have low gas pressure on startup and I've already replaced the fuel pump twice. I haven't seen anyone replace it online
I think a problem you might be having is a leak in the gas line. Have you tested the fuel pressure and does it hold? If you're in a state where they use salt on the roads there is a very common spot that gas lines will rust out behind the driver side wheel 👍
I live in calilfornia, no salt at all. I lose fuel pressure overnight but I dont lose gas. doesn't smell or drop any gas which is why its my only conclusion. maybe the fuel injectors but I'd be running rich but my cobalt runs excellent @@1020autorebuild
I have a video on California emissions fuel pump replacement, I've never done a pressure regulator. The California emissions fuel tanks are a little different than the regular ones everything's self-contained There is no external fuel filter
Do you think it’s okay to jack it up under the rear axle? My cobalt is super rusted underneath and the only place I can lift it from the back is under the axle
