  • Here I show my simple inexpensive method of transferring a laserjet design to a piece to be engraved. This method gives great detail !
    Recipe for transfer solution:
Needed: 2.5 oz of Dammar Varnish, 8 oz of Ronsonol Lighter Fuel
mix 9 parts lighter fuel to 1 part Dammar Varnish. Store in
    a airtight container.

Hi John, I am a musical instrument maker and would be interested in the silver plate you are using, could one use it for inlays on an instrument instead of pearl or abalone? How thick? My pearl is usually .050-.060 thick. what would you recommend to buy and where to get it? Thank so much, I enjoy your videos and would like some advise on whether to try is or not? I would be inlaying the silver in wood. thanks again!
