Always impressed with how Steve knows he's the "famous guy" in the room but humbly looks and sounds like he wished everyone else was getting the attention instead, like they're the band and he's just this guy who gets to play with them
This is the best way to listen to this kind of music...musicians just standing around casually playing a singing. Not really "performing" but just being relaxed and chilled.
I like how the guy says he has individual questions for everyone, yet still directly asks Steve about a 30 year old (at the time) movie the first chance he gets
Amazing!! God bless these guys! What's the first song? I really liked that piece in particular, I only wish they amplified the mandolin solo a bit more.
@Don Heil - not sure about the acoustics - yes, the NPR set was less 'noisy', but, I like how this sounds truly live - like they are with us in the room. It might depend what you listen on!!
seems lately the partisan polotics get the news,i believe in the usa and the folks here,we do want the best for our wonderful nation,to hell with haters and dividers

That first jam is a barnburner! This is such a magical performance
The set is awesome, as well as around.
The fact that the video gets cut in the middle of a song with an ad is nothing short of grotesque.
I love how they all "Feel the music." They are not just playing notes, they are "living the notes." I know so as I am a banjo player.
there really is something so soul healing about this kind of music, perhaps just folks working so well with each other, versus being divided
This is fabulous

So talented. LOVE IT!
Wow, what a treat! Fantastic performance.
Wish this was infinitely longer
Definitely would have loved to hear 10 more songs!

What an amazing group of musicians, thank you for letting us hear your brilliance.
Not sure which set I like more: this or the Tiny Desk concert.

I like how the guy says he has individual questions for everyone, yet still directly asks Steve about a 30 year old (at the time) movie the first chance he gets

Steven I am going to paint you friend.😊
The Tiny Desk set was better...better acoustics and better sound work. Both were great.

Who is the fella asking the questions? Prefer tiny desk. Less talking shite and more playing
I want to meet the three people who dislike this
Someone explain to me how a goth, metal head, Rush fanatic, and an EDM fan can get so lost in this kind of music.
Good music is good music
Awesome!
