The Labrador Retriever, often abbreviated to Labrador, is a breed of retriever dog that was developed from imported Canadian fishing dogs. Labs descend from the Newfoundland Dog and the St. John’s Water Dog in Newfoundland, Canada. The Labrador Retriever was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1917 and thereafter rose slowly but steadily in popularity due to its incredible versatility, obedience, and rugged good looks. It is now considered the world’s most popular breed.
Great video! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much!!!! Your videos are a great help and well done. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Do you have a video about waste management from zero to 8 weeks? ( In 2020, I fostered a pregnant stray lab mix. The puppy poop was such a challenge. Even the mama wasn't house trained ). How does a professional breeder handle it? 🤔 I am just beginning as a breeder, raising my female lab puppy and learning all I can.
Love your videos! Thanks for all the helpful tips. Have you considered doing a video of your daily routine with your pups? Such as feeding time, outside and playtime, cleaning their pen, etc? :)
Thanks for watching? Yes we’ll probably be doing a “day in the life” video soon. 👍
Hello out there, thank you for sharing. I intend to start a breeding business. How safe is to leave or beed puppies on the ground #pave free?is there any specific conducive environment for them?
You’re so good!! Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Great tips!
Thanks!
Thank you for all this information !! I’m wondering if it’s hard broken for the dog mom after selling her babies? Please advise
She will miss them, but not too bad. She gets on with things quickly! All too soon the cycle begins again and she appreciates the time off in between! Great question!
Hey Allen. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I just had a question. How do you deal with ticks and fleas so that your puppies don’t get them.
Great question! We use 2 things. We give our adult dogs Simparica flea and tick chewable from our vet by prescription. We also treat the yard at least 2 weeks before puppies use it with Triazicide insect killer. Here’s a link:

Hi Allen, When looking for a good Vet to work with, do you have any advice on some questions to ask them? Thanks...
Sure! Kinda covered that in the video. You can ask if they have a 24hr emergency #, do they do AI? Do they like working with breeders? Etc..
@@must_love_labs Thank you! A little brief but great advice.... maybe you can cover this topic a little better. I have found Vets don't like to work with first time breeders.
what you say are some Key Partners in a Dog business-like is it PetSmart or maybe like a friend who helps train dogs? Thanks
how would you find someone to transport your dogs safely? things like that?
You can do a Google search for pet transport in your area. You can also speak with other local breeders for who they use.
