I did not ride too long as I had too many bikes/scooters to choose from.. There is another guy now riding the bike, so far so good as much as I know. Generally, ENGWE is a reputable brand and their bikes last for a long time.
I am not 100% sure regarding the cruise control if that can be set in the settings. I will try and play with the parameters to find out. I can barely here the motor, not too loud for sure
Price of a second battery? And "20km range" on pure electric seems poor for a 12.5 mAh battery. It also seems to make quite a loud whining noise.. Paul G
This ENGWE P1 seems better and about 80 euros cheaper than its two main rivals - the ADO A20 and PVY Z20. The 'which-to-buy' decision looks like a no-brainer. Yet both the ADO A20 and PVY Z20 have lower mAh batteries but claim a hard-to-believe 60-80km range. D'you believe or know from testing that their electric/no pedalling range is also just 20km? It's a pity you don't compare it to the ADO A20 and PVY Z20 and say which you would buy. As I said the 80 euro cheaper ENGWE P1 looks like the clear winner. Any reasons to disagree? Suspension not so good? Paul G
Engwe p1 claims 100km range :D And it is true - if you pedal a lot :D You can probably do 35km at 90kg weight if you ride at 20kmh and in "mixed conditions"... Suspension - all cheap bikes have.. well.. cheap suspensions :_) They are "ok", not magical :) I tend to not compare with the other bikes I have never tried... But p1 is the newest model, so it makes sense if they improved on some things and made it "better"..
@@VRMinde ..even testers who have reviewed rival ebikes(or any product) are usually reluctant to say one is better than the other - as always because they're afraid that manufacturers/sellers will black-list or grey-list them and stop sending 'em products to review... Paul G
@@paulgovan3507 I don't care to be honest. I only work with companies that do not tell me what I can or can't say in my videos.. I never send them "previews" etc. This is also not my main income by any means so if they choose to not send something to me - oh well... But I do not want to compare things I have not touched in real life, as stats are often misleading...
when my knee heals up a bit I will make a comparison video. They are different scootes and it depends what do you want - straight line fast riding or more agile and maneuvrable
Where's the big black FRONT bag / basket that other P1 TH-cam test-reviewers show and like a lot?
Paul G
No idea mate, did not get one of those 🤷🏻♂️

And it is legal - you can chooce to not install the twist throttle and have it limited to 25kmh
Best video on P1 I have seen yet. Do you know about any direct competitors?
I will have one on review in a couple weeks from Hitway
Have you kept using it? How is it doing so far? I'm curious to know its resistance to continue use.
Anyway, nice video!

Does P1 have cruise control? And the motor, how loud is it at max speed?
I am not 100% sure regarding the cruise control if that can be set in the settings. I will try and play with the parameters to find out. I can barely here the motor, not too loud for sure

It is real life data, going full speed all the time and 90kg rider. Probably can squeeze out a bit more..

what do you recommend me to buy? G4 or G2 master?

You won't get in trouble for exceeding the 25km limit and having a gas throttle?
It depends where (and how) you drive it :) The throttle does not have to be installed and speed limit can also be enabled :)
