Watching the video it looks like the the reason that the sawzall didn’t work well was because the orange rubber handle was allowing enough give of the hammer in the (not well secured) vice that the blade wasn’t allowed to oscillate enough to actually cut.
I had one forever and it finally cracked and started letting out dust. It was over 20 years old and I used it as an industrial millwright. Took it to Harbor Freight and got a new one. It is the only thing I have ever warrantied from them.
@@matthewswingle391 haha yea it was pretty bad, also it was like 110 degrees out there today… had to use my fan in the shop door to exhaust the burnt plastic smell
Those are cheap enough to just buy another one. They may be the best Dead blow hammers on the market. Reason I say that, they are so affordable and you can get them replaced under lifetime warranty. They actually hold up very well. The biggest complaint for most, is the square handle.
Well, I returned / replaced several broken things, all went well. But I purchased much more than "several", and if they fail after several uses, as long as they are expected to wear out, saw / drill bit / screw bits, etc, I'd just buy new ones. They are cheap, and usually buy themselves very well.
I took in a $130 icon torque wrench that something happened with the spring. Told em it was broken. Looked it up to verify I bought it, gave me a new one. No questions asked
@thatguyagain2693 my store is a pain in the @$$ but I called corporate and they said it is a new policy to have valid ID if the computer randomly ask! So I can not send a person to swap out either
This deadblow is a must have for rhe price

I was a bit disappointed that you didn't dump them out and see how much they weighed.
I'm curious if it's 3lb's of shot or if it adds the cylinder?
This is one of my most used tools. I've hit as hard as possible 1000s of times, it is a tough MF.
I found out by wearing them out😂
Should try out an Impact poly Hammer so that doesn't happen to you again. 😉
I see the step brothers name reference
Oh shot!
😂
Puts a hammer in a vise.... that is not secured to the bench. 🤣😂
That was comical. I knew it wasn’t lead shot as soon as it bounced off table.
Harborfreight warranty is terrible you where lucky
it’s really not though, you must have just had a bad experience
