Thanks for these reviews!!! I'm a long time mechanic and do it all guy amd i love harbor freight! I'm doing more and more auto work so I'm upgrading some of the old reliable things lol I'm horribly lacking in this department
I like quality tools and not hung up on a specific brand
I have had mine for 2 days and it stopped working
No receipt necessary?
Hi there, do you think its possible to modify the knife to work/act like a slip joint? Sadly in the UK we arent legally allowed locked blades. Thanks for the videos they sre superb! John
@@JohnJez it’s probably possible for someone that can fabricate small parts and rebuild the knife, but I’m not sure. Thanks for watching and commenting and I appreciate that you enjoy my videos! More coming soon!!
$10 sale atm. 3/8 set is 24$
This was really depressing to watch lol it’s my first and favourite knife that my dad gave me when I was 10
@@ancubing well I’m sure yours is special because of the sentimental value
Well maybe the design is inconsistent bc I got it 2 years ago only
People just want to know how long it takes to charge, how many things you can fill on a charge , how easy is it to use,how much it cost. Does it only go to 36 psi? Can you set it for 55 psi? Not many people will care about milliamps and all that technical stuff. You can also tell us, if you're going to talk about the technical stuff, that if you don't want to hear about it, skip to 3:35 seconds... or whatever.
@@JoshThePitBull great advice I appreciate it 👍
Dud the battery come with it?? What about a charger?
@@JoshThePitBull bare tool for that price. I already had batteries and chargers
The ratchet seems to be throw away unf. Non-serviceable, O-ring under the cover. I swapped out the ratchet for a better one. Still a good value.
@@joer6571 yep! Couldn’t have said it better myself 👍
Wait what, EMP protection? This isn't an electronic device with silicon microchips. The silicon components, namely the balance spring, is anti magnetic, preventing the thing being magnetized and out off regulation. Also, silicon won't lose its shape like a metallic balance spring would after a very long time.
You really covered the box and the foam to death. Any thoughts on the sockets?
Really, prestige worldwide
@@cesarlopez-pt2ew it’s Whirlwide lol
Those are not the quality GearWrench sockets from the truck.
SATA tools aren't bad and even at $97 for both sets it's still a fair deal. I have a SATA 1/4" torque wrench that I absolutely like.
That Skil combo in the video was indeed $149. I saw it online and contemplated a purchase. Also that Craftsman $99 combo has been going on far longer than just October. I've seen that deal constantly since 2021 when I got it. If you watch tool prices on a regular basis you'll realize their average sale prices are the same as their Black Friday prices (AKA normal prices), and they run them constantly. In many cases like that Craftsman combo it's perpetually on sale for that price. That Craftsman 16-gallon, 6-horsepower wet/dry vacuum is actually $29 on their website. I dont know why your store says $43 but your location on their site should reflect the real price. So yeah, it gets even better.
I think they are made in India. I believe that’s written on the Amazon page in the specs
SAE is still heavily used in industrial settings
Im happy so far for lite use, general DIY. Got it on sale, in process of painting the sizes. Imo the thicker case maybe to allow things to lie deeper in the plastic recess for better/longer gripping...
IT IS N-O-T CHINESE. It is actually an American company out of New York. You really should get your facts straight before you take the trounle of posting a video. It's also obvious that you don't know how to use a time grapher. Additionally labradorite is feldspar it was first discovered in Labrador Canada. You really did absolutely no research before posting this video. In fact a deep blue watch is a microbrand that displays great quality and workmanship for the price. One more thing the band that you keep referring to as silicon is actually silicone. Silicon is an element and it is hard and brittle. Silicone is made from silicon and oxygen and essentially in effect is a polymer.
There is a 99% chance they get all their parts from China. It's most likely assembled there as well. Its not a knock on them, the majority of micro brands source their parts from China
People might think you're getting an inexpensive watch because of the price. On the contrary, you're getting a top value watch, and you won't believe the quality when you get it home. I have 20 of their diver's watch models. In my opinion they're the best value dive watch available. Mine all have NH35 Seiko movements and keep excellent time.
44mm case and 22mm lug width isn’t standard. That a pretty large watch. Standard size watches would have a 40 mm case with a 20mm lug width.
December 16th was the Skil 10 tool kit for $149
I bought the metric set. But this one and the SAE set and the bigger 3/8 in set was on the deal of the day today at Lowe's for $29
😂 you need to lube(through the switch) then run it on the drill. It comes with almost none to no lube. Regardless the 1/4 is the worst one out the bunch. Stanley should have just used the facom/usag ratchet it came with originally. They are stuck in a vicious cycle of more teeth equals more better 😂. Funny enough they have a ratchet with super low backdrag(mini head). The kit at 38$ is a steal. Great price and quality. Toss the ratchet and get whatever favorite small ratchets you like. I'm testing a munch of 1/4 ratchets/bit ratchets to see what fits. Also if you have a 3d printer it's such an easy fix to make a clip for the ratchet. I'm probably going to design one for my choice of ratchet.
Yep just keep pouring some thin oil through the switch and then run it on the drill. It will eventually get better. Just make sure to do it in a garage or outside somewhere because the oil will try to splash out all over the place when you spin it on the drill
fahcom
G i’m not really f*ckin w da filming da ipad
I have no idea why they just don't use the Facom ratchets. They are not exceptional, but they are better than most. If they had done that, I would have bet the V series would have been a success.
Well 10 days bb your going to float maybe the American man and lady can show out real Milwaukee tool reps white
Mow in your sandals?? 😂
Deep Blue had some nice quartz watches for $99 last month and I snagged one for Black Friday. I picked up a stealth ops Tritium for Xmas for $169. Got 1/2 dozen Deep Blues myself, really are great watches. I also invested in a timegrapher and use it to regulate my watches, but lately the NH35's have been 1-2 seconds a day out of the box.
Get the 3/8 1/4 inch PACKOUT set with rachets for $229
Yeah, your son’s gotta tell him that Prestige worldwide is sold 1990s lolol
They have the combo ratcheting set SAE/METRIC for $319
The cheapest one on their website is $199. And they go up to 550. I thought maybe this was an old video but it was from a couple days ago. Where are you getting these watches for $100?
@@akiblue they go on sale from time to time. I got mine during a holiday sale. You can also find good deals on the secondary market like eBay
No deal on the 4 Milwaukee batteries
Rolex quality? Lol c'mon, my man. Ive owned a deep blue when I started collecting. Currently, I own a submariner and an OP. I assure you these aren't rolex quality. Good quality for the price though.
@@Libertà_sopra_vita might have been a stretch, I realize that lol. Thanks for commenting
I bought the 3/8 set and the 46 piece shock wave impact bit set these are really nice , the Craftsman v series sales took most of my tool budget. Thanks for the video!
Order today for only ten dollars! I just visited the website looking for something else and saw those for half price, but it says order today to get the price. We had several Northern Tool stores in the Chicago area and all of a sudden (out of the blue to me as I hadn't heard anything about it, but they're all permanently closed except for one. So much for my heading to the store tomorrow to pick up a few things. 😮💨
If you go for a automatic at 8 times the price. You may find a 5 second a day difference. Same old story. You get what you pay for.😂
@@Steve-cw2hc you can regulate these Seiko NH25 movements to COSC equivalent accuracy. It’s pretty easy actually with a time grapher. Thanks for commenting
@PrestigeWhirlwide you miss the point. Not everyone has your equipment. I can say I personally own one or two essential time pieces. Both mechanic and crystal.
I've got one of these. The build quality is markedly better than either of the Ozark Trail meme knives, and it's also lighter and less expensive than HF's fine Icon. My inexpensive folder favorite at the moment is CIVIVI's Mini Praxis, which runs about $35. This Gordon is not quite as good as the benchmark CIVIVI, but at less than a third the price it's excellent value for the money.
They only have sales every once in a while they cannot compete with HarborFreight On price and warranties
Thank you for this
The banks framing nailer has not let me down at all. Been in construction for over 40 years and have used many brands. The banks air nailers are a great buy.
Yeah i was looking at dual flex wrench looking ratchet not bad looking or feeling. Had it iny hand and thinking about it but ended up putting back and i had the Pittsburgh 3 piece that square drive head with bolt head like on it i have flex head 3/4 craftsman ratching wrench it turn it in to ratchet and has 3/8, 1/4 to. So have see what's in box fut them have ratchet wrenches fit them not sure if i have flex head ratchet wrench fit them . They were 3 or 4 bucks
Another TH-camr said to stay away from HF’s electrical tape.
I went yesterday for the head lamp. I really prefer rechargeable but free is free and i was wanting the 6 piece technical measuring set anyway. (Item 64447) I know they aren't high precision but the are great for my woodworking. Works better than i hoped.
The HF website now lists Icon Technicians (251 pieces, $800) and Core Master Sets (382 pieces, $1300) in their new tools section, but they're not yet available. Any thoughts on these and their listed contents?
They already sold out they have to restock
@@gerald5344 I will look into them and compare their value with buying those items separately. Would probably make good video content to add everything up. Thanks for the suggestion!
Do you have a watch collection? I’d tune in for a video on that
@@crabwithknife1104 yes! I actually did a video on my watch collection a few months, as well as some videos on other sets of watches. Check out my videos and I also have them in a playlist
