Great video, Nita and Shenae! I love, love, love my Okatsune secateurs and getting the whetstone has meant that I sharpen them much more often because I don’t need to disassemble them to use my standard size stones. I have the small secateurs and combined with my bionic gardening gloves, they make pruning even thick branches not just easier but possible for my arthritic hands. I will definitely be needing the shears for my hedges! FYI, my snips and what I’m calling my Summer bionic gloves arrived so quickly, this week, that I haven’t had time to use them yet but I will be sure to post to Insta when I do. (The blue is gorgeous!) Cheers from regional Vic, Darcy.
Hi Darcy, so nice to hear from you again. Thank you so much, we're so happy that you are loving your Okatsune secateurs and that you're finding it easy to sharpen your tools with the whetstone. You definitely have the most incredible gardening tool set, using the Okatsune secateurs and snips and the Silky Pocket Boy, and not to forget the incredible Bionic gloves, the blue is a colour. It makes us happy that you are can get back into gardening pain free! It is definitely on the list to get the Okatsune hedge shears, you haven't felt anything like it, so amazing! We would love to see pictures, can't wait to see them! Thank you again, 😁 Cheers, Shenae
That is great! So happy to hear that is working for you. We have been told that using the whetstone is brilliant, so definitely worth trying down the track 😄 Shenae
My God! Is that common in Australia?:-) Such a nice smile of both. Doesn't matter sharpening clippers. Greetings from EU.

Not really interested in pruning shears, but do any of your Japanese suppliers make knives? How about any Australian knife makers? Ps what is the best way to cook platypus eggs?
According to our dear friend, Google search: ' Platypus don't lay unfertilised eggs, so any that you chow down on will have a foetal platypus inside. ... However, platypus is a protected species throughout all of Australia, so it is illegal to kill, or eat, one. So.....probably best not too 😃 As for knives, we have the Deejo and Baladeo knives in store atm. This is a video we made on about them: th-cam.com/video/BLfoPMeC9z4/w-d-xo.html We love them! @@SILKYsaw I'm thinking platypus balut then! It is a Filipino delicacy made by letting fertilized duck/chicken eggs ferment till they are at their most gelatinous goodness. As to the knives I'm no steel snob, but I'm looking for something a bit more upscale. Made in a first world country. What knives are used by Australian hunters/bushcrafters? I generally stay under $150.00 U.S. . Ps since platypus eggs are verboten, how about crocodile eggs, dingo burgers or koala kabobs? Please tell me you can get those! If not , I believe Crocodile Dundee must of been a work of fiction, and thus must go back to road warrior as my point of reference when it comes to Australia. 🍻 Pps most thing are shut down in my area of the USA can't get out much, but that leaves more time and more money for drinking! Cheers 🥂🍻😋😂🤣
@ Thank you for letting us know! I am not sure they do that here in Australia. But not something Nita and I are willing to try any time soon....or ever 🤢 lol But there are few crocodile dundee aussies here that eat kangaroo and crocodile meat and they classified as a 'super food' and sold at our supermarkets. We only stock high quality tools and we’re always on the hunt to expand our range. But when do find high quality Australian made knives, I am sure we will post about them on our TH-cam videos, so you will be one of the first to know! 😄 Shenae
It's awesome when you gals do a video! I especially enjoy the ones where you are sawing things! In the USA it's very uncommon to see a gal using a handsaw for anything!
Hi, we are great thank you! Finally getting back into the swing of things. I feel bad as we are enjoying the warmth of summer beginning your getting into the cold. MInd you, a good time to get into perfecting your sharpening skills 😃

You're welcome. I think it's awesome that you gals can saw things with a handsaw! Is there a lot of gals who use handsaws in Australia?
@@BIGCOWASSEDBARISAXOPHONEPLAYER Yes, lots of girls in Australia like to garden and go camping and do a bit of bushcraft.
That's pretty cool! Nothing wrong with being able to be able to use a saw if you need to cut something
