About me - I'm Claire and I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose so much. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / insense. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery is indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

Just to add there is more of that floral note in the drydown than I realised and it reminds me of other Far Away fragrances. I still can’t find the vanilla though.
I remember the original Far Away from the 90s, my Mum always got Avon back in the day!
I used to love leafing through the Avon books as a young teen, oh the nostalgia 🙃
Avon did a sample of this for £1. I got that & thank heavens I did. Supposed to be cherry fruit, Belle de Nuit flower & Aussie Sandalwood.
It got on my bits as well. Watery something, floral something & fake scratchy woodish.
I adore the OG Far Away, a cuddle in a bottle & some of the flankers are better than most designer churn out.
The travel sprays 10ml for about £6 are the way to try Avon perfumes if there aren’t any samples available

Sounds like a nice fragrance, sometimes you just are in the mood for a good cheapie. Avon has some pretty fragrances. I used to wear Foxfire years ago. The bath products sound really nice.😘💛🍂🍁
My little wine cooler is now full. I have 4 fragrances for each season + one for anytime and is my calming fragrance. My husband has his fragrances on the smaller bottom shelf.
I guess I'll be giving up fragrance channels for awhile. Thank you for helping me choose my fragrance wardrobe. 🌻
1:48 Alongside a few mousses by Rituals, I also use their Amour Sunrise shower gel - it reminds me of Midnight Poison, Coco Noir, Coco Mad, Empressa, etc. and it makes my skin feel & smell AMAZING.

Nice seeing your video. I loved the bottle and the name so much I bought this perfume but it is truly awful 😂 the packaging did the convincing for me what great marketing. The smell is just strong chemical with 80s style man aftershave. Headache inducing to say the least.
At least it wasn’t expensive 😂
Kept thinking ‘Claire don’t do it’ as I started to watch this but maybe it wasn’t too bad 😊

All modern Avon Perfumes smell like tar to me. I kept trying them but gave up after the Far Away released prior to this one - I still don’t know what the aroma chemical is that’s in so many modern perfumes but I just cannot cope with it! It’s sad because it’s in like 70% of all new releases. The new Montblanc signature was the most recent “argh get it off my skin!” Burning rubber hell!
Too bad the fragrance isn't a hidden gem and that the scratchy aroma chemical made itself known. I blind bought and recently received Joop! Homme Le Parfum (it was cheap, but not as cheap as the Avon) and it is ALL aroma chemicals that have no similarity to perfume. 😠 Enjoyed the vid!

Well we can't love them all. Your poor thrupenny bit. My sister has many Avons... Yea. To be fair there was an aftershave I loved a proper splash one I had in my youth.
