3 Hour Xtreme Challenge - Stint 1 - 2023 Winter Endurance Karting - Touring Kart Championship

- This is my first stint. The track already has a practice session, 2 qualifiers, and my team's first 12 minute stint before me, and it's STILL insanely slippery.
It sounds like they tried to put something on the track the night before, and it didn't have time to cure, and mixed with the morning condensation made for a huge mess. It was hours before this cleared up. It was much worse than rain, and felt like driving on ice.
I'm a couple minutes in here when I remember to start recording, or you would have seen even more crashes 😅. Some fun ones include:
* 0:32 - the softest crash ever
* 2:09 - spin to miss
* 4:16 - me and jon go airborne
* 4:33 - jon loving these walls
The only "nice" part here is I get passed at 5:45 and take the pass back 10 seconds later, but then the same kart pushes me into a spin at 6:55 😒

The "vibrant" setting looks nice. I think I went flat or natural and have to pop it in post.
Yeah I wasn't using it for a while but I like it
lol 4:34 it's constant, 4:44 Nik thinks about ending it all and deliberately enters 1 wide.... 6:56 lil baby punt. Check out 8:20 through S/F. You get target fixated on the guy you are chasing I think, your driving suddenly goes way off and you are keeping turn angle in too long.
For 4:44 yeah I got too distracted by the yellow, and 8:20 yeah I think that happened to me a couple times throughout the other videos (will upload soon). Gotta do better about not getting distracted.
In stint 2, I become so focused on the fact someone may have lost their wheel, for what purpose I have no idea. I blame the carbon monoxide poisoning 😂
Hopefully the fella who crashed ahead of you and then crashed into the wall near pits again right after wasn't concussed: the two in a row makes me think he may have been seeing stars or something.
@@dominiquecallan148 I *WAS* seeing stars after that big tandem crash. I got nervous for a second thinking I'd have to pit lol. But as I explained about dehydration and such, I'm no stranger to blacking out, so I will literally push it until I physically can't anymore 😅. They went away after the first 2 turns so I was good haha
Actually when I was watching this back I wondered if there was an pre made effect somewhere that could accurately reflect that, but didn't want to put in the time searching for it.
