Thank you for this video, I had been having loud knocking and screeching sounds with my triton when its moving or turning, took them a while to identify that the sounds were coming from this area of the truck(after spending so much money changing other parts), now I sort of have an idea of what needs to be done, will proceed and fix this and test out to see if the sounds disappear.

Thanks for the comment, hopefully this job sorts your noise out!
Thanks. Why were they replaced?
Just for a HD upgrade 👍
Good Hi guys, can you tell me if the Leaf spring and shocks can be fitted on Starwagon L300 1991 4x4 ? I know most of the parts fit well on it. Thanks
Im really not sure to be honest mate, will try find out for you
@@diydaly Thanks you mate, it's very kind 🙏
Dont you have to put the load of the car on the leaf springs first and THEN torque the shackle bolt/nut properly?
Some people may do mate .. different opinions .. I rarely do
@@diydaly I was just curious whether it made any difference. Thanks.
@@prohkunz 👍
torque settings for the bolts?
I couldn't seem to find the torque settings Andy, they weren't listed in autodata.
whats the reason for changing them?
1 was broken
Final tightening should be done when vehicle is bearing its own weight.
150 Newton Meters front
Rear 52
U bolts 80
👍 thanks
no spec. settings for suspension parts,...final tightening should have been done with vehicle on ground ,suspension taking full load
Thanks for the comment
English please😂😂😂
