    Ha .... That red & white Freightliner is an old Roehl Transport truck. I drove OTR for them for about 5 years and my third truck was one just like the one in the video. I think it was about a '96 model. Good old truck. Great video, Mike! Those SPFH's are amazing machines. I especially like watching them harvest corn silage and see those tall stalks sucked in in lightning speed.

    I always marvel watching the big forage harvester, When I was young my Dad had a single row gehl Chopper He put a 1650 Oliver gas on it and pulled S&H boxes behind it, He actually let me run that out fit when I was 15 I had been running that tractor since i was 6 and I still have . Enjoy your work!

    Should come by us, we just bought a brand new 9900i john deere. Would be cool content because its muddier than muddy here in WI. We also had a deere, then went to 2 class 980's and we demoed one in hay and we were hooked.

    Hope your Colorado stay is great, watched the wheat stalks getting baled, wondered why they bale wheat stalks and chop alfalfa instead of baling it? Love watching farming vids just don’t understand all the why they do it that ways. Thanks

    Enjoy your videos.Is there a reason thy don't use this system of chopping into semi trailer in wheat harvesting?

    I never thought it would take 900 HP to pump that alfalfa!

      There has to be some massive drive chains and gearboxes in that thing to work with that much HP.Impressive!

    That's huge to have a operation with as many rigs and such the costs of a such investments boggles my mind to be so large to me these monster farms are killing the little man.

    Why is it planted/collected in a circular fashion??

    • @jameswilt833
      @jameswilt833 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nicholas Heath the irrigation system turns like a clock hand . If the field was square the corners wouldn’t get water so they plant in a circle
