- Here's an interesting story about an unsuccessful audition, seeing the good side of failure, and why it's super important to take the small gigs and make connections because you never know when your phone could ring with your next great opportunity.

Thank you!
Every single tech gig I’ve worked was always word of mouth.
That’s usually what happens, plus you’re great at what you do. Thanks for checking out the vid Andy!
@@AndrewLynchMusic lol, you're too kind!
Not the result you wanted but it's also validation of moving into some new areas and perhaps a bit "up the food chain" - experience is experience for sure and your attitude is really positive and can only lead to more good opportunities! (also a side note - dig what looks like a Seiko automatic diver ;) )
Thank you, yes that's how I'm looking at it. And yes, that's my Seiko Turtle!
Maybe I missed something, screw those other guys, start your own band and play your own music, I learned from the beginning that artists are flaky especially if your just a guy who wants to play, without the B.S !
You will, find your place, just keep getting better and you will have more bands to choose from than u can handle ! Thanks for the insight from a New York point of view !👍
I agree, the passion for playing really came back once I starting think about it that way. Thank you for the kind words and for checking out the vid!
