Unpopular opinion: Swamy is actually right about a lot of things about Modi, especially Ram Mandir. But his time is gone and the public is now heavily swayed and mesmerized by Modi. Swamy would do well to just keep quiet and hold his peace, for his own sanity
The Supreme Court went by the archeological evidence and what Swami had furnished was essentially emotional. Modi did little until the Court ruling. He has yet to repeal the many discriminatory laws which have crippled Hindu institutions. Swamy himself could have taken these up one by one. Two of the most reprehensible laws were enacted during Narasimha Rao's reign (Waqf Act and POW Act) and Swamy doesn't even mention those.

My country has been been prosperous and happy. Yes poverty has been an issue and we are working on overcoming it. We citizens (Hindu Muslim Christian and many other faiths) live harmoniously. There are political parties who are using toolkits from other countries to disturb peace and you may have picked up their news and sharing your perspective here.
Subramaniam Swamy is sad because he wanted to be FM, but was not considered, would have been a good FM, but the problem with him is he will not listen to the PM, wants to be independent, definitely eccentric. That is why he lost out, otherwise he would have got the plum job. He cannot be made even the dummy President of India
Yeah there is a reason he was not made FM because Modi would have fallen behind. He thinks India can grow at a rate of 10% and that too with a happy middle class who is the Innovator of this country on a lower tax regime (they are the ones with the will and resources (education and a little financial support) to grow startups and innovate)

I admire Subramanian Swamy, he always speaks his heart just because he criticises doesnt mean he is against his party. He criticises both the ruling and opposition parties. It is good for our democracy. He has contributed a lot to BJP, we should credit him his due and accept constructive criticism.
Constructive criticism is welcome, but at 84, how can he expect to be in active politics. Even Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi were not included in the cabinet because of age factor
It's not Swamy's age but his rebellion that all parties both ruling and opposition avoid him in spite of him being highly qualified and knowledgeable. I admire Swamy and Modi for different reasons his issues with Modi are personal in relation to his experiences. So, that doesn't affect my choice for PM, it will always be "MODI" and the BJP likewise my reasons for admiring Swamy also doesn't change but if he behaves and respects his party colleagues it would probably increase.

Dr Swamy has certainly contributed to Hinduism. His argument that Ram was born in Ayodhya and that is based on faith was a strong argument. He deserves credit for that. I respect his brilliance and Intellect. He’s the reason that SOGA didn’t become PM. However, his stance on NAMO is unacceptable. NAMO appoints only puppets in his Ministry is a BS argument. May be that's the exact reason he was not even considered for FM post. Rather then working with the party for common goal he considered his personal ambitions to be foremost which definitely is not good for future growth of the political party or any organization for that matter. His ego is far too big to be satisfied and he should learn something from Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Swami has a history of “support a group/party who might give you limelight/credit, and when they don’t, keep pulling them down by spreading lies till they’re out of power.” He has always been a credit seeker.

Ram Mandir happened in 0:50 the most peaceful manner, without undue turmoil, it was only because of political will and using all the right channels, so definetely credit goes to Modi and the well oiled machinery behind him.

Or perhaps, BJP has figured out that asking for votes for a Strong Single face is better than asking for votes for individual leaders. Could this be the reason that it is better to umbrella all the achievements under Modi so it becomes easy to ask for votes. In every organization top management select people who are absolutely in line with them, and will never oppose them. It has nothing to do with personal capabilities and leadership qualities of that person but his obedience. The independent thinker will always roam alone. We all face the same thing at work place and as this government works more like a corporate I see no difference in their way of work.
To state things with over-confidence using his background as heavy weight is not the right thing to do. Dr Swamy must refrain from doing this. He is NOT the #1 economist on this planet. We can always find thousands who can criticize but only a handful who can deliver. PM Modi has simply delivered---including the Spectacular Temple for Lord Rama. If Dr Swamy pens down a request, I am sure PM Modi will certainly include him in his team of advisors and then Dr Swamy's ideas can be debated and tested.
