She was very good.. YES , But she clearly wasn't the best.
I respect everything she did and other things that she did were not so respectful (i won't go there), But all in all when it all comes out in the wash 40 years, Lita did pretty good all in all and she has our respect, There were some tough times, That's fine.
and she had challenges to overcome like say.. Joan Jett , Now Lita is NOT Joan Jett and if you want 1 better than Lita, Joan is definitely better than Lita, Doro Pesch to name just 2.
but the point isn't, WHO is better.
The point is , Lita is not the best.
But again....I'm not shooting her down, Lita was a part of that era, No doubt. and i was there from the beginning

Lita had a great run and I regret not seeing her perform live. Her video for Kiss Me Deadly is still among my all time favorites.

Lita has stuck to her roots. Once a Rocker Always a Rocker. I saw her about 45 or so years ago with the Runaways at othe Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. "Keep on Rockin"

I've been a fan of Lita's since the 80's. I met her in 1988. She and her mom along with her band was at Sound Warehouse, in Houston. And then my first time to have ever seen her in concert, was when she opened up for Motley Crue in 1990. And then last year she was at Lava Cantina (restaurant/concert hall) where I now live. My husband and I were front row. Truly enjoyed her concert.

Seen her open for Motley Crue in 90 also on Dr. Feelgood tour. We had front row seats. I got her attention and she smiled at me... and 30 years later it is one of the highlights of my life.

I was lucky enough to see Lita at California Dreams in Anaheim around 1994.Super great sound and excellent musicians who delivered a great performance.Actually bumped into her as she came out of the bathroom as so was I.Glad she's still going.
I had so many of her albums!!! Nothing will ever be like 80's rock and metal, Black was the last album I had of hers, but when her style started changing (by then her life started changing with her husband, and my life changed as well), I wasn't really into her anymore, but I used to love Queensryque, Scorpians- and so many more also! 💜
80^s and 90^s were the best decates of heavy metal and Lita ford was one of the best singer

I WAS 16 YEARS OLD. I was a DJ at a low power FM radio station. I PLAYED THE SHIT OUT OF THE runaways. 1978. Lita, you are the perfect girlfriend for a guy like me. I grew up, played bass, rocked my ass off for decades .:) You know what you call a bassist without a girlfriend? HOMELESS

You can see the end of the hair metal era evidenced in this video. Lita has a nearly endless string of songs through the 80's and the streak remains unbroken up to 1992. Then suddenly there is a 3 year leap to 1995 when alternative rock takes over. Then in 1997 she'd suddenly doing cover music and we jump again to 2000 and 2005. All this after a rapid fire of non-stop music through the 80s. How the times change.
