Great stuff Louise. I have loads of soursop seeds and I am now inspired to have a go, I am also beginning to think that planting some of these tropical plants in normal compost without any addition might be best. The main killer during the winter months might simply be overwatering.
I agree about the compost the guava and soursop seemed to have come through winter ok. I wouldn't add fertiliser during winter normally, but as I repotted them and we're getting nearer to spring, I used the granular slow release fertiliser, nothing else. I let them dry out before watering .
Mines little bit taller than yours, you gave me three seeds, and I have three plants altogether. I haven't died yet 🙃. Yours looking good and healthy aswel now it might grow faster by repotting them 😀
@@louiseahmedtropicalplantgr5000 i just put the seeds straight into some compost and put the pot into a unheated propagator plus i get plenty of sun in my front bedroom i just left them on the windowsill 😀
Sorry I can't ive only got these 4 plants and there's no guarantee they will all survive. If Im successful in getting the seeds to germinate I might send out germinated seedlings
Very informative tips
Certainly look much better than my sickly plant, the leaves have all gone brown on mine
I don't think I can take credit for the way they look Brett , I haven't really done much, in fact I've neglected them.
Wow that’s great Louise. 👌🌱

@@barrycartwright8400 wow it seems I've fussed over mine too much. If you are interested in selling one of your plants let me know
Do you keep them inside always.. any signs of fruit?
Yes I keep them inside. It's winter now -7 and no active growth as short daylength. Too young to be fruiting!
Please send me one of this plant.
