Great composition...love how animated he is. I suppose back in the day it took a little to get used to for me. He's so awesome. Love the rhythm too. So powerful with the band. Would be great to be there but I dont miss crowds or loudness. (I live on the main road) Steve will always be one main favourite guitar spaceman...if not THE.
Did EVO get a new neck? That fingerboard looks pretty clean for a 36 year old guitar. According to the Wiki page for EVO this guitar is on it's third neck.
Ibanez spending thousands of dollars on developing new guitars for Steve. And they do a great job. But Steve Vai still plays his battered, 40 years old EVO 😂👌

In his last gigs, I noticed that the guitar neck inlays are not mother-of-pearl, but a very reflective glass-like material.
He's had multple neck replacements on both FLO and EVO over the years
