This is why it is usually completely pointless to argue with Trump supporters.
Ultimately, truth really comes down to your experience. Mainstream media manipulate facts. For example, Harris hid joe's condition. IF she has done that, then What else has she hidden? How do you explain to yourself even that event?
Yes! My family are all Trump supporters and there is literally no way to have a productive conversation if you can’t agree on basic facts of reality. I can show them very nonpartisan/neutral sources and they will say it’s liberal fake news. It’s beyond frustrating
unfortunately some of people will believe Trump didn't say that. You would have a more intelligent conversation with a one year old child than a Trump supporter.

Exactly, I heard an interview with a politician who made remarks after a loss. The reporter asked why this wasn't brought to their attention before the election, to which he got the reply: It's up to you as a reporter to listen, ask relevant questions and let the answers be heard, instead of just chasing viewers.
I can't even stand to see debates, it's like a game show were you only get points from answering quickly and as loud as possible. 🙄
The thing is, they're NOT JOURNALISTS!!! Working on a cable news program does not make you an investigative reporter, it makes you an on air presenter. The problem is that Americans refuse to learn the distinction between the two.
The journalistic concept of "objectivity" and the method of treating each side equally, giving "he said/she said" reporting, are no longer relevant. The media have failed to hold politicos accountable for what they say. Part of the problem is the lack of interviewing skill, part of the problem is the lack of knowledge. It's difficult to hold Trump's feet to the fire if you don't have the facts at your command to rebut him on the spot.

I am a lifelong Republican and hated MSNBC for SO LONG... but when the "Zero Tolerance" Policy on the southern border hit the news, I saw a broadcast of Rachel Maddow (who I had villified in my mind) crying over the situation on air. I was so moved by the crisis situation, I had honestly never cared for immigrants but for whatever reason, I identified with those parents. For the first time in my life I started to examine why I had the feelings I did for Central and South Americans. Years later, I am typing this comment from a remote village in Argentina. I have been down here for the past 4 years. Rachel's humanity helped me find my humanity. I LOVE that she is as brutally honest as she is. I LOVE that she shows her love for a friend and colleague. I couldn't be a bigger fan. Buying this book for everyone I know!

When I was 18, I traveled to my friend's rural village in Mexico. I ate beans and corn Tortillas for a week, went 💩 in the corn fields, and bathed out of a bucket.

Thanks to you, Rachel, I found the emails of members of the Georgia Election Board and wrote them asking them to remind local election officers that they do not have the right to refuse to certify results. Only one of the members, Mrs. Ghazal, seems to have taken a stand. I worry for her being a lone voice.

I once taught a class of eight-year-olds. I saw one of the boys by the coatpegs dip his hand into the coat-pocket of a classmate and put some coins into his own pocket. I immediately told him what I had seen and he was to put the money back. He got angry, and told me firmly he was no thief and he hadn't taken anything. I asked him to empty his pockets, which he finally did, proclaiming the coins he brought out were his. I reminded him that I'd seen what he'd done, and he said, very angrily, that I hadn't seen it because he hadn't done it. I wonder what Trump was like as an eight-year-old.

Also they discussed the economy and inflation without discussing corporate greed or his ridiculous tax kickbacks for his billionaire buddies. Even his tax-free tips proposal is actually a terrible idea that's going to bankrupt the government by allowing all sorts of rich folks to reclassify major parts of their income as tips and avoid taxes. Don't know why Harris isn't calling it out for the sham it is instead of jumping on a bad bandwagon.
He insists no one died on Jan 6. The dead cops stopped existing for him.
This is a classic tactic of scammers and con men. When you find the mark, don't tell a small and believable lie. Instead, you tell the most outlandish and easily debunkable lie possible. The reason being if they'll accept that, they'll be susceptible to pretty much anything.

The reason I believe people buy into the lies is because most are working hard to get by and don't read or listen to news. They don't keep up with politicians as they don't have time for it. I was this way. Some one could ask me who the governor was and I did not have a clue, there had been time where working 2 jobs I did not know who the president was. My job was to see my wife and kids were fed and had clothes to wear and a warm bed to sleep in. I did try to keep up, but it was not a priority. My family was.
