That was my grandfather's bike, he restored it back in the 70's and gave it to me in the 90's. It sat in a basement and then a shed for many years after that. My father in law and I got it running again around 2006 and I learned to ride on it. I started to work on it by acid etching the inside of the tank and putting a liner in it to prevent rust from it sitting. I started sanding the exterior of the tank to paint and was hoping to restore it at least somewhat before life got in the way. I ordered some parts which you have now, including the side stand, I could not find the bracket for a reasonable price at the time. It was running when it got put in the shed again in 2009, unfortunately the carbs went out and it has not been started since. My brother in law is the one whom you bought it from. I look forward to watching it come back to life!
Oh wow! A direct connection. That’s awesome. Those side stand brackets are hard to find for sure. I look forward to getting it going again! It’s great to have some additional history on the bike. Thank you for commenting and sharing. I really appreciate it.
I've been working I'm needing some help that anyone else can help me raise 316.00 to get my bike fixed I have a payee supposed to be helping me but she gives me the run around on my money

Good find!!
Right? Love that the engine is free. That's so huge.
Damn it dude.. You're so damn lucky..
There's nothing like that to find out here on the west coast..
It’s crazy where these keep popping up. They gotta be out there!
I vote for trying to get it running first.
I think that’d be a fun project.
I never try to start my restoration projects, I figure they have to come apart anyways so why take a chance on doing damage. Good stuff! Subscribed
Thanks! Glad you took the time to check out the vids.
Could you please advice on cleaning and polishing chrome covers for the tank? Please
WD40 and 0000 steel wool will get you started. Be gentle. Many chrome polishes out there!
It seems that you have two right-hand Honda wing badges on the petrol tank. These badges are handed
I noticed that too. Let the search begin!
