My stock Carbon shocks leaked as well. I ended up pulling the shocks apart. Then coated the underside of the piston with Green Slime. The shock cap "o"ring and threads with green slime and finally the bleeder screw with green slime. Filled with 70wt (for testing) and so far so good. Going on week 2 of hard line crawling, light trailing and just sitting on the shelf. No leaks. First time around, after the 1st day of crawling I noticed they were leaking.
I run my fusion pro with #7 punch. Im able to hope right up on a level 90° corner. It is a little aggressive but sometimes it sure helps. For the most part I love your style of alow driving, its my favorite. ❤
Hey Logan I just buttoned up the electronics on my vrd straight axle kit and out the box this thing has super exaggerated torque twist. The rear right just sinks to the floor under any throttle. Mind you I’ve only tested it around my house. I can’t see it being any good on the rocks. Do all VRD’s have massive amounts torque twist?
You earned a new sub today. Would you do a collab with Crawler Canyon? He has a great set of courses that I would like to see the two of you compete on as a special guest. He is out west like you are. I hope you two can make that happen.
Hey Logan you are one of the main reasons why I got int rc cars and I have been an rc pilot for 2-3yrs now but I wanna get into crawling and I can’t afford on tho but I want to ask if I’m able to maby have one I know I sound like a lil brat but I’m 13yrs old can’t work obviously but lme know I love ur vids and wanna get into crawling thanks so much Logan
14:00 obstacles like that are called undercuts. its to undercut/to much of an undercut. it would be an overhand if you were going the other way, down it.
Hey man, completely off topic, but have you flown your timber evo yet? I was a bit concerned about running such a large battery and not being able to get the cg right, the battery will only go back so far. Thanks
Rock pirates VRd kraken chassis or brazin hardline chassis??? Which one should I get? Suggestions? I’m really hoping desert rc gets his vrd skid for his coyote chassis done soon. Thoughts?
the fusion is heavier than the revolver+40a esc, right? not a fan of fusion, it's harder to get revolver spec motors and hh v3 esc here... I use Rhino esc and motors now
@@westdesertwheeler i used to own 3 sets of AXE systems and ditched them a long time ago for revolvers and castle esc's, not all at the same time, I got 1080's and Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Pro and Sport motors at first, that combo was heavy too but was far more superior than the AXE systems. Not a fan of the AXE or the fusion due to their motor lengths and weight After going full brushless with Revolver snubnose 1800kv to 2500kv, I never looked back... they worked so well for me. I have ditched the revolver/copperhead combos and slowly transitioning to Rhino motors and AM32 esc's and love it. When you build rigs like we do here and weight/space needs to be considered. Can't beat a Rhino combo or a Holmes V3 with a revolver. Still hoping to try that soon.
Ive always wondered if tires really matter THAT much. Obviously a softer compound helps but does the tread pattern matter? I see you run different tires and they all seem to work 💁♂️
Are they same weight bias? Are they the same width? And are they the same length? The VRD don’t want to do the same lines because of that ford body lmao ….
@@westdesertwheeler Ahh, i see 👍, sorry i forgot to add that it was a Great video, I really enjoy how you walk us through your thought process of how and where you position each wheel, Mesmerizing, Thank you!
I love how you’re honest with your frustration!
“How the turn tables”, love that office reference!😂
Cool trucks . I’d like to see the fr /rr weight bias differences . I think the straight axle is less than 60/40
outstanding lines, great crawling on some sweet lines, very nice trucks!!! thank for sharing !!!!!!!
Thanks for watching
Wes desert Willer!!!!!! 😂 love the videos man keep it up.
Lol thanks for watching

I use dlux fab ar44 heavy knuckles they work great on the straights

Some cool lines and amazing rig. Love the Red Rocks of Utah.
Thank you for watching!
The dog wins lmao her stance was way better

Love the videos. Keep up the great work!
Thanks I appreciate it
you think the machined gears in the carbon kit are a big deal?
Too close for the time and money?.... i dont know.....but really curious about the front line chassis....have you looked at that 1?

I've heard that you can make them stop leaking with Yeah racing desert lizard shock seals... I haven't tried it yet.
Don’t have any of those. I’d just put Traxxas shocks on it eventually
it is not nearly as sunny and warm over in salt lake city!
Love this video and I was wondering if there is any benefit to putting sintered weights from vanquish in the wheels or is it bad?
The benefit is more forward weight. My wheels aren’t vanquish wheels so I can’t use them
Ok thanks

Fusion is definitely heavier but simplicity is awesome

Pitbull BDS suspension shocks are expensive but i haven't had 1 leak ever . Traxxas 2660 with a losi mini spring for budget shocks also ....
I’ve run the Traxxas multiple times with great results. Thanks for the tip
I’ve been waiting to see another ucfab video
Check Desert RC channel for a recent drive

Hey Sydney 🐶
Way better than listening to bumbling man in charge of U.S..
🎉🎉🎉
Thank you Logan. What about a mullet
Haven’t built one yet
Too much overdrive in the carbon?

Same wheelbase and width yes
The Green RTR Stance body looks very good, but the noises it makes... 😫
It’s only once I put it on straight axles, it pulled the tires closer and made it rub. My fault

lol vanquish shocks don’t leak
🤣
Pleas dont drive angry in videos. Your driving turns to trash. Go take a break next time instead of breaking your rig.
