It should be noted that Risky Stance is mistranslated. Any attack by the player, not to the player, has a chance to trigger both the 10 PP gain and the 1 damage, per each hit. It basically means you have a chance for your PAs and techniques to trigger offensive PP recovery. I haven't tested whether it scales off of Enthusia and similar offensive recover bonuses like hysterical strength, but it would fit neatly into that 10% boost. From my own field testing, it seems like it pairs well with classes that are either landing attacks on a lot of enemies at once, or hitting in rapid succession. It looks like generally it peaks higher than gradual PP gauge, but the latter is more consistent
I checked myself again and it does look like I do get the 10 PP back when I attack stuff and not when I take damage. Weirdly enough, most of the time it happened was when I was also taking the 1 damage so I thought otherwise. Thanks for the correction! This does make it rival the Gradual PP Gauge augment since this gives a little more (10 instead of 7pp) theoretically every ~5 secs. It depends on when the chance succeeds and, when it does, how close it is after the cooldown. The Risky Stance can also proc other on HP Decrease bonuses which can be an added perk over Gradual PP Gauge
Still the most coherent and well rounded NGS creator. Thanks for being such a solid mix of everything great in the community man. See ya in ship 3 qixel!
Yes, just like you said, Risky Stance + Endure Pain PB Boost + Patient Defense is a very very powerful combo. You have 10% change of doing self damage, the chance seems to be very low, but it is actually 10% per hit, so if you have attacks with higher hit counts, it can proc easier than you can think of. With Risky Stance, you recover 10 pp about every 6~7s base on RNG, and self 1 damage can trigger both Endure Pain PB Boost (2% PB charge) as well as Patient Defense, so you pretty much have 25% damage resist against all sources as long as you are doing damage.
Very nice breakdown. 🙏 I'm currently running Hysterical Strength, Gradual Pressing and PP Burn. I was worried about too much pp burn before I made it but it's very strong and it's manageable. Ex augments should be freely exchangeable

Filler Slot (If you want to play more Support, Fortune Sign for more team heals.) (If you want more damage, Lively HP Starlings or Stealth Wall.) (If you want more survivability, Patient Defense) (If you need even more PP, Tech Arms Suppress. You'll have to swap between PAs or Techs though)

@TaIathar Perhaps... I know if you Multi Weapon. EX Augs cross over to the other Linked Weapon. But if you carry two non linked weapons? I don't know. wow does this mean if i have 6 weapons with tri shield i can just swap out for 6 times to always have tri shield? im bad at parry or dodging i wanna build a tank techter or force they dont get defense love
For a tank setup I'd say to try this.. Patient Defense Sign Shielding Fortune Sign Tri-Shield is good, but only useful every few minutes. If you're bad at dodging, you want to have high Damage Reduction and a lot of heals. This combo gives you exactly that. If you run Techter/Waker you'll have pretty much unlimited heals, and if you use Techter/Hunter then you'll have very high damage reduction.
@@Kienamaru I would replace Patient Defence for Auto Resta on a Techtur/Waker. In higher leveled content, Defence doesn't mean much unless it's on par or near Hunter's Phasique or half that. Assuming we can EX Transer on Units too. That gives us 12 EX Slots. I'm not sure how EX Augs stack in this case, beyond raw stats.
For EX augments... Sword Hunter/Waker Tri Shield Tough Up EX A (stacks with Iron Will Hunter Main) 20% Chance to not use Heal/Res Potions when using it. Same as Bouncer Main. (This is a high DPS with major PP gain build. Not a max DPS Glass Cannon. Other EX Combos are great, too. Use the Stealth EX Combo for ranged classes such as Rangers or Force, etc.) When you have Augment Transer by trading in 100× Augment Transfer Tickets. Unless I'm wrong. Swap it with your 3 Units or save it for the next higher Star Rarity Weapon. If Units can use EX Augments, too, then the builds I explained will only become much stronger by stacking or hyper complex. However, be careful with using the same EX Augments for some EX Augments such as Tri Shields. Tri Shield is character bound, so having two Tri Shields does nothing but waste an Augment Slot because you cannot refresh it nor obtain more than 3 Tri Shields. Having Tri Shields on two weapons (not multi weapon) just means that Tri Shield Character Bound can flow between the two separate weapons without deactivating.

3:21 You say it's a 1 in 1540 to get all 3 augments you want but how did you come to that conclusion? You said there are 22 different augments and you get 3 each time so 3 rolls in total. Because I don't play this game anymore, I'm assuming you can't roll 3 of the same augment on an item, so when the game rolls for 1 augment, the augment pool size is reduced by one (dependent variables). So the math for the probability of getting the 3 augments you want should be (1/22)*(1/21)*(1/20), no? Which is 0.00010822510822510823 or 1 in 9240. This doesn't take into account the drop rates for the weapons, different augment variations and individual augment drop chances (because you mentioned some seem to drop more often that others), just the probability of having the 3 augments you want on a single item. Am I missing something? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Functionally speaking it does not matter which EX augment appears on which line on a piece of gear. For example, Burn 1st line + Hysterical 2nd line + PB 3rd line works the same as PB 1st line + Hysterical 2nd line + Burn 3rd line. Since order does not matter, the correct math is 22 choose 3 = 1540 possible outcomes, or 1 in 1540 chance of getting a specific set of 3. You can also do (3/22)*(2/21)*(1/20), basically the same. That said, all of this is under the assumption that each EX augment has an equal chance of appearing. From my personal experience this is false; most of my drops has Light or Heavy Protect, or both.
@@deepblackink I meant like tri-shield x or tri-shield r since they are different augments then if you get one of those, all the different tri-shields wouldn't roll again. Wouldn't it change the odds?
@@deepblackink hmmm yeah that makes sense. So you're saying order doesn't matter. I always assumed it did, that augments were generated sequentially from 1st slot to the last slot, whatever that may be, which is how it works in some games I've played. How do you know how it works in NGS though? Are we both assuming the augment system works the way we think it does? I'm legitimately curious, I'm a big diablo/borderlands/pso nerd and I've always loved statistics and probability applied to videogames. I guess the correct answer would be then, if order matters, it's 1/9240. If it doesn't then it's 1/1540.

@@TriggerHippie I haven't seen any that are the same type, like the tri-shields, but they do appear in different order. I've been specifically been looking for gradual pressing x, tri-shield x and fortitude x. I was wondering what would be the odds for those specific variants. I've been trying for the past few hours but no luck in drops or the shop. Sorry I wasn't more clear.
I went full tank on my hunter damage light (I think purple gigas in gorge are not bosses) damage heavy and low hp starling seeing as I have 1500 health.
Problem is that it removes some of the arguments that you already have on your wingard which is kinda weird idk if they are even worth it tbh
they all give 4.5% potency. they are worth it.
@@spark9189 i see
@@spark9189 Some that boost potency with an affect are 4% but still a huge boost when paired with regular augments
it’s just a slap on the face for players that recently augmented or have BIS for their weapon.. like they give these aug success rate campaigns and then go ahead and release an aug transfer system that only transfers all at once, so if you wanna upgrade you have to invest a shit load of meseta again
Definitely worth it 👌
What recomemded EX AUG for BRAVER /BOUNCER ?? Anyone?
If you do purple triggers you're going to get 2 to 4 gallons per boss in bosses die in like 2 minutes 3 minutes Plus manna when the boss goes down and you absolutely need it and the other ones actually better for a fury eraser spam Non-Stop
u can do funny build with the 50% HP treshold.
Shortage HP starling, Patient defense, PP burn/ Risky stance.
Hunter main, and Waker sub.
put more stacked HP/ dmg ressist on aug like GDK and gua addi/annadi augments.
Enjoy. ur tankiest man alive that live under 50% HP.
I'm still salty it strips the rest of your augments. I can't play this game for 12hrs a day :v
Especially when they just had two "improve your gear" last month lol.
you don't need to do the story quest to do nameless city
Damn, this is a huge drop list
7 Nana every 5 seconds play shaman would love that
EX me next
I got a 3 new armors in one go
Down factor is good for bouncer
If you're running out of rest of signs you're doing something incredibly wrong
You're balding
for people going full glass cannon and very confident in parrying:
shortage hp starling (6% when below 50% HP)
shortage pp burn up (4.5%)
hysterical strength (6% with ailement, constant apply with burn up)
Terrible, dead dps do no dps.
Liability.
And before you cry, nothing in this game demands a build like this.
@@RedEyedDRAG00N yea, I know that, but some ppl go for heavy min-maxing anyway. comment is for them, not me
i just play like dumb shuld do..... to much new powerful augments make this game lost it fun to play....go to hell with EX just hack and slash.....kill more doll ,,,,do daily quest that it end of daily game
1/1540? You can't have done much shiny hunting in your life if you think that's bad 🥲
