"Go your own way"? The left has shown that they won't let you leave. At some point libertarians will need to be ready to fight for what we believe. That point may be much closer than we think.
Who owns the guns? If leftists somehow get elected and are able to defund the police, the "go our own way" can happen without any hassle or opposition. If that isn't allowed to happen, conservatives will finally realise how stupid supporting the police and the military was.
@@ayandas874 Guns can be bought (or acquired in other ways...) . Likewise, skills in using them can be learned. If it was just about that, then what remains would be a simple number game Imho, it's more about skill-sets, etc. The areas with industry and agriculture, ie, real stuff, will probably be able to be okay initially. Cities, where people with jobs in the tertiary "service" sector won't be. When that happens, people will flee cities and they will have to end somewhere. Best case, the leftists mindset basically fizzle out, worst case, you have something like the Russian Civil War where the Red from the cities raided the campaigns...
I don't agree. Leftists are authoritarians to be sure and they would love to be able to control the lives of every human on the planet. However, power and control are NOT the ONLY things they care about. They also care about safety and comfort. If we can make them understand that the choices are separation or a bloody civil war I believe that most of them will choose separation. That said, nothing is guaranteed. I fully realize that. But we have to try. The alternatives are a bloody civil war or becoming slaves under leftist tyranny. War is always terrible and there's no guarantee we would win. And slavery and oppression are obviously a nightmare. So we've got to try to separate.
The U.S. is basically a western version of the Soviet Union. Each State needs to decide its own future instead of being ruled by an oligarchy in the city state of Washington D.C. The oligarchs of Washington D.C. impose tribute on Stated which they call taxes. Most States have populations equal to independent European countries. I support the Free Republic of Georgia. The Articles of Confederation of 1776-1787 worked out well but the wealthy Tories (Federalists) wanted consolidation for more power.
I like a lot of what he said and agree with many parts but i don't understand the what the marching orders are. if we are to help with the unraveling what does that mean? help how?
only I see in this is a lot of symptoms of the problem, that most countries don´t have a real democratic system ( like the one they have in Switzerland) were elit, political and administration are forced to follow and protect the individuals choices, rights and assets....instead of be a corrupt, superior cancer on them
Great to hear you again, Jeff. Always a welcome voice. Down to earth and realistic. On a personal note, I like the clean-shaven look but brown is not your color. It isn't for many white guys. No substitute for white shirt, or maybe light blue, with navy blazer or natural linen. Keep up the good work.
America is still a young country. I hope what we're seeing right now are just growing pains, not old age pains or falling apart pains. Some of the trends you mentioned (and some you didn't 😊) might have a bigger impact than we think. For example, the shifts in education make it possible for everyone to access high quality lectures in history, philosophy, critical thinking. We might see a renewed awareness of how unique and truly remarkable America's story is, and a renewed sense of pride for being part of this story and commitment to contributing our share to its success. Also, technological advances are happening very fast now and are remaking all industries. It's difficult to predict their actual impact on economic growth. It won't be easy to come up with good solutions for managing the national deficit, but it's not impossible either. Maybe I'm in denial. I love our country. I'd really love to see it getting stronger, instead of pulling itself apart. ❤️
How could I obtain my bachelors degree if where I obtained my AS degree has lost it's accreditation? The school no longer exists I think about 8yrs ago & I graduated 20 yrs ago. I want to have a bachelors so I can extend my studies into constitutional law.
Can we talk about how the IRS is privately contracting with individuals and it allowing the individual to say no, when you do they ignore it or give you the wrong address? How there is a statutory law for taxes and a contract law and that UNIDROIT principles of international commercial contracts allows for any paper to be considered a contract- no particular form is required and that the federal IRS allows for the confiscation of returns by way of this private contract- scam! How the states use the clause not allowing states to interfere with the obligations of contracts yet these non federal entities are located in the various states, off federal lands, calling themselves a federal office yet not an actual federal agency and not using federal forms with an OMB number and the contract titles not published in the federal register- you can’t deny their offer to contract because they simply ignore you! You can’t write them because they don’t respond and when you file a case in the tax court they dismiss it because the tax court has jurisdiction over statutory cases and not contracts, where is the right for the wrong and what stops them from stealing? As the economy gets worse and worse they will simply keep stealing with government permission, and states doing nothing! Let’s talk about theft by the appearance of contract.
The idea that "the left" = "progress" is farcically self-serving. Progress is progress, but it does not have a 1:1 correspondence to whatever "the left" is.
Yes we need a new way... the fighting is insane, if they want to live in CHAZ go ahead but leave me alone. I'm thinking you live in an area where you agree with the rules and maybe sign a contract. Those rights are protected. Sadly we're seeing even corporate America cave to the wokeness.
