I just watched this movie for the first time and as the credits were rolling I was fiddling around on my phone. I had heard the chorus before because this movie is so insanely popular but I hadn't heard the verses. That little melancholy melody they do literally tore my attention away. I'm obsessed with it.
@bobcieslinski I agree, crazy this movie was made even before hits like toy story and lion king. one of the more impressive movies I've ever seen, stop motion with an original score like that? Disney didn't even know the gold they struck with this one.
Hi Harper! My son loves that movie too. He watches it every Halloween. It has awesome music too! Thanks for watching and commenting. See you at school.
Hey Bob, Good song for the season. Have you seen any of these artist' version of the song? : VoicePlay, Marilyn Manson, Broken Peach, or Oliver Palotai (Kamelot keyboardist) with his wife, Simone Simons (EPICA).
Danny Elfman was great with Oingo Boingo but his strength seems to be in his orchestral productions. He does seem to be tune with a dark side. Pretty cool song and video. Danny has that kind of weird appearance, somewhat like Stephen King, lol. I wonder how much of this production was CGI vs Claymation.
I love Danny Elfman as an orchestral composer. I’ve followed his career and his music is always interesting and eclectic. Tim Burton and Danny have made some really interesting movies and soundtracks for them over the years.
@@bobcieslinski Whenever I saw Danny listed as the composer on a film I knew I was in for a treat. Oingo Boingo had a rather strange stage appearance, but then that fit with the band characters, lol.
I believe I sent a link to one of her cover songs before, but this is more for just your own entertainment. It's a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody by one person, but it's not the regular guitar cover. She sings the vocals including harmonies, plays both 12 string and 6 string guitar, piano, bass, and drums on the song, so basically she does the entire song. And she does a very nice job. I imagine it took a lot of video work and editing to get everything to match up. Link is th-cam.com/video/vauL46AU050/w-d-xo.html if you (or anyone) is interested.
