Sending love to you Liz 💕
I’ve always felt lonely, even when I have friends. This video helped me so much to realize that it’s a normal feeling and it’s okay. ❤ Thank you so, so much.
sending all my love and all my hugs
I'm taking a gap year this year. It's just barely started, and I already feel so lonely. It's hard to watch everyone seemingly move on with their life while I'm still stuck trying to figure things out. Thank you for being transparent about everything. Life truly is pretty mundane and boring, but some moments are special. I feel like you show the mundane moments of your day and still make it look beautiful.
trust me, everything will fall into place. i feel like loneliness and comparison get louder than ever once everyone moves on from high school because for the first time everyone has free will to go their own way. it can be super discouraging. but trust me, your path is so special and it's what is best for you, even if it doesn't feel like that right now. you've got this💪
@@gillianelaird thank you so much gillian, i really needed to hear that today. i think you're awesome!
I took a gap year last year after my undergrad because my personal and family life made it necessary and I do have to say that I'm a lot more self-reliant and better at dealing with loneliness because of it. All of my friends moved away after college and it was tough seeing them start their PhD programs and jobs in new cities while I was working part time at a pharmacy and taking some online classes. We were able to video call pretty regularly but it's not the same. It really does get better though and I wish you luck for your future plans!
@@avantik2048 thank you for sharing! that makes me feel better about myself and where i'm headed. i know i needed to take a year off, but i'm just not sure where to go from here. i'm happy for you that you took time off. even if it maybe wasn't your first decision, you found a way through and ended up better and more self-reliant on the other side.
I loveeee this channel so much because it truly relates to the situation I'm currently in.. thankyouu as always Gillian for not making me feel lonely in this chaotic world🥺🩷🫂

well, the Bible says that there's a time for everything in life, a time to smile and a time to cry. I believe that in every moment, there is something to learn, even if we don’t understand it at the time. I do believe that someday we will. the seasons change, and we learn from them... ❤️🩹 may Jesus filled our heart, only Jesus can..
you're amazing, Gillian.♥️🇧🇷
hugs from brazil

Hi Gillian. I discovered your video about quitting social media 800 days ago today and been checking out this new vlog series you started. As a vlogger myself I always find other people's vlogs interesting, just to see what they are about, what people like to show about their lives and how they are made.
Two questions popped in to my head.
1. Do you feel like making videos and being on youtube is different from posting on instagram or tick tock? And if so, different in what way? One could argue YT is also a social media app, with the same trappings as the other apps.
Secondly, just wondering what camera you are using for your vlogs. Thanks!
