  • here is your sign to stop rushing your life away and to actually LIVE it! in today's society, i feel like so much stock is placed in reaching your goals as quickly as possible. however, that is such a flawed mindset, and in today's video i am going to tell you exactly why.

You should do a vid about toxic prodactivity, I think it's one of the main reasons we never sit and relax. As a gen z I always feel that I have to do something to feel productive cause nowadays everything is so competitive... school, college, even hobbies and if i just relax and do nothing I feel guilty of not being productive. I don't think other generations had such a problem in their early 20s but we do as a collective and it's stressful

I also feel like this is true in regards to hobbies. Particularly when you’re pursuing a creative field, finding ways to enjoy yourself so everything doesn’t feel like work can be hard. It’s inevitable you won’t be good at everything especially starting out and avoiding that feeling keeps you from growing, and not everything needs to be a special skill for you to add to your resume

thank you so much for this. i am about to graduate college soon and my friends ask me what will i do or where would i work after graduation. i said that i am going to take a rest for a year and they laughed at me and I felt a little insecure at that time. i know that they want to earn their own money already but for me, i will prioritize mental health first, considering those 5 years of college drained the hell out of me with constant sleep deprivation, all nighters and mental breakdowns.

I’m so proud of you for understanding all of this at 22. And I’m also of the unpopular opinion that manifestation is 💩. Enjoy this timeee ☺️💖💖💖

I often feel so lonely because everyone in the world seems to be rushing. All while I love to slow down and be present, i feel sad for those who are on their phone all day every day. You describe it so well, I 100% afree with you. Thank you for sharing this with the world, I wish everyone had these insights

I’m new to this channel and have been enjoying you so much. Easy and digestible videos, well spoken, and a healthy reminder that I have appreciated. I’ve recently deleted social media so it has been insightful hearing how you have navigated this too. If you ever make more videos about deleting social media, I’d love to know what you focus your attention on and how you do it.

Love your videos and I’m so glad to have found your channel. However, the reality for most people like us is very different. As we need to work day and night to make ends meet. We don’t have the luxury to sit back or relax. If we do that then we can’t put food on our family’s table. It’s a vicious endless cycle for a lot of us to just survive this life and world 💔😞

I was in the same place as you at 22 in literally every way. However, I was super focused on dating and needing to find a partner and get "experience" and all that jazz. So I decided to steamroll myself into it and force it. I ended up in an abusive situationship and was taken advantage of and it left me with some trauma that I still am working through years later.
Thankfully now at 28 I have a loving partner and am very happy I met him only after I stopped trying to force it and was living in the moment. I have a friend who was in the same spot but she took her time being with herself and trusting that it would come when the time was right. Now at 29 she has met the man of her dreams and he is perfect for her. We both ended up where we were meant to be but one of us went through a lot of trauma. Looking back I wish I had just been happy with the blessings I already had instead of pushing to be at a place that wasn't ready for me yet.

So i dont usually comment on anything but your videos are helping me i guess enjoy my life again so there is that, thank you, but also i wanted to say that manifestation isnt actually about being in the future, which is how media and everything presents it to be. True manifestation is actually about being in the moment and feeling like you have already made it to put it simply and by doing that you will atract and subconsciously move towards your goals. ✨

You have quickly become my favourite TH-camr right now. These videos are exactly what I need and are hitting hard. Thank you so much.
I’d love to hear more about your social media journey! Also PS: I love your hair!!! How the heck do you style it that way and what did you ask when you got your haircut? I’m growing my hair out for my wedding in October but the second it’s over I wanna chop it all off the same way as yours 😂

ahhh thank you so much! my inner child who dreamed of posting on youtube is crying tears of joy! as for my hair, i got the bangs about two years ago and have kept them up but recently decided to grow them out. as for the length, i took inspo from taylor swift's 1989 era lol. i'm also debating on growing it out. but i have some face framers cut as well to give a more easy going look. for styling i just use a hot roller brush and then put the top section in rollers!

This was my feeling through my 20s. I always felt like I was rushing against time and always felt left behind and that left me burned out and in the middle of choices I was unhappy with. I'm now 30 and I just live in the moment, prioritize what I like and want and I'm much better.
Goals are still important, but now I stick with things that fulfill me and that bring meaning with in my life. Long story short, it was a bad time, long story short I survived. :)

You’re very wise for your age. I’m 34 and started university for the first time at the age of 30. I have never had any real career or lasting job because I had children at 22 and before that I never really worked. I’ve thrown any expectations out the window. 😂 now I’m doing a masters degree in teaching and going to start a career at 35.

Sorry me again. 😂 as I’m watching it I have more thoughts. It’s refreshing to see someone from gen z who is encouraging people to put away their phones and use their brains. Gen z are such an instant gratification bunch of people, so to see you saying you just have to figure out the meaning of a word and use your brain is so nice. And I don’t judge Gen z. I’m a millennial and I’m just as bad. We are the internet generations for sure. 😬
Also just on the part of the video about workouts. I am my heaviest I’ve ever been right now and for health reasons as well as my own happiness I am trying to seriously lose weight. I’ve been on a few diet kicks where I’ll track my meals for a week but then like you said I do the bare minimum and take the lazy way out and I don’t see results within a week or two so I quit. But this is going to take so much longer than just a couple of weeks, and it needs to be a full blown lifestyle change for me or else if I just go back to old habits then I’ll put all the weight back on again.
Anyway I love your videos ❤

I’m 18 about to join college this year was on Instagram during lockdown then deleted it because of academics but I constantly used to login and get procrastinated and the past year is when I slowly started realising how Atleast 90 percent of social media is fake and people do things just to post on social media rather than enjoying what they want to do and my friends always force me to create social media I’d say I’d rather have a peaceful life than constantly being in a toxic cycle of comparing myself to influencers.I’m still trying to overcome fomo as in college almost everyone has social media and people mostly bond on Instagram these days.So what if I don’t get any friends as it’s a new place new city what if they think I’m uncool for not having social media. Please give me some tips for these problems

i remember when i first deleted social media a bunch of my "friends" told me i was dumb. turns out (to no one's surprise) they aren't my friends anymore. the right people will cheer you on and accept you no matter what.

I enjoyed your video but I must say the constant cuts are somewhat distracting (maybe not to all) and perhaps taking your time to get the message across (not rushing) might take make the whole message more authentic. Just an opinion, thanks. Have a lovely day ❤
