    Oh Mate, so glad I found this vid from you. I bought one the other day in Australia. It isn't called a Rhino but a UME 1.2 t. I would love it if you could show some maintenance / service procedures. I don't have a manual etc. Awesome intro.Thanks.

    • @jasonyeh99

      Sure I can show some maintenance video. All these are generic and the service work is relatively the same, and the best thing about these are the simplicity of its design.

      @@1BigSkiddy Yeah mate got nearly 20 hrs up, i'm a plumber no idea about machines, we pushed it a bit too far with lifting weight and it came out ok. Grease nipples are a bit hard to find (all of them) and had to change grease nipples to standard gun size which was no problem. Kubota motor go for it.

    Hi
    This safety issues aren't that bad as you say.
    By default you are not allowed to park excavators on the slopes. If you must do it you have to put bleda and arm to the ground. Same think is on the flat. Blade and arm must be lowered to the ground if you park an excavator. That goes for all models and brands. If what you say would be thru that big company's like Kubota and Yanmar couldn't sell their smalest models which are made similar.
    Otherwise great job.

    Hello, I find your videos both interesting and informative. I am particularly interested in the Rhinoceros brand from China, to be exact the Rhinoceros XN12-8. With all that said, from your experience what do you think of the XN12-8?

  • @dirtysteez1569
    @dirtysteez1569 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Rhinoceros are always so clanky, noisy and jerky not very smooth operating . I’ve operated a few machines that size with a hammer attachment and never felt underpowered. Maybe just the Rhinoceros.

    There is a company in my country that sells this exact one for 10,000 € (~12,000 USD) new. Is that a good price or should I try to hustle them lower somehow?

    • @jasonyeh99
      @jasonyeh99  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the e price is fair, see my other video, th-cam.com/video/SnlumfE_UJI/w-d-xo.html
      However, I did a real digging test today and I’m sad to say I had a disappointing experience on its performance. I’ll have to do a side-by-side comparison against my Landscape Buddy tractor. I suggest if you can rent it for a few days to test it out before having to put down your hard earned money for a tractor that may not meet your expectations.

      @@jasonyeh99 You may want to check your hydraulic relief valve pressure. I posted vid on how to do that. Also, the mini is very light and the hydraulics easily lift and move it around. Proper use of blade for maximum digging force is necessary.

    thank you Jason...I am Jeff from Indonesia... i interested to buy XN 12 or XN 16... Do you recommend XN 16 over XN 12 for the best value? Is XN12 not enough digging force ?

    • @jasonyeh99
      @jasonyeh99  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally you want to get the biggest machine you can afford; and for work access, you want to get the biggest machine for the smallest space possible. I think my XN12 is likely not adjusted right, I have to find time to troubleshoot and adjust. It’ll be another video some time. You can also consider my Landscape Buddy tractors, if it fits your needs.

    Most of them don't have a Kubota motor which I imagine eliminates a lot of the problems with the garbage engines they normally have.
    That said I've encountered just 1 of these in person and it was broken down, hunting and stalling at idle.
    Rubbish, you can get a name brand 3.5t machine used for the same price, with attachments. I would distrust any contractor who had 1 of these - Ask yourself, If he cuts corners with such a fundamental tool where else will he cut corners?
