Thank you. I wonder whether the dubious preachers of the Azazel Street Revival studied Montanism, or whether all of their signs were surprises to them? The answer to that would be meaningful evidence in building a case one way or another.
I know several Ortho Priests and laypeople who Speak in Tongues and other Spiritual Gifts, OCA, Antiochian, Greek. In the early 90s I listened to a message from the Orthodox Tape Library of a Greek Bishop who stated the Orthodox have always been open to the Charismata and have continually experienced it. He went on to relate an encounter he had with an Angel at an Airport.
