As you know Can-Am offers several different Spyder F3 models to choose from. Like the F3, F3s, F3T & F3 Limited. The F3T & Limited models are really the ultimate touring bikes, as they offer substantial on-board storage right from the factory. The F3/F3s are more affordable models that provide you with a frunk and that's about it. In order to address this issue, we've partnered up with our friends over at SpyderExtras to bring you guys a 3-piece Touring Luggage solution for the F3 / F3s models. This kit includes matching left and right side saddlebags, that are lockable, removable and feature an interior retention strap to hold your stuff in place while riding. You'll also get the Rear Top Case, that features a padded passenger backrest, and is also lockable and removable, along with an interior retention strap to store a nice amount of stuff for that next road trip. Now we know that storage is important when traveling, but so is safety... so this kit also features integrated "Running Lights, Brake Lights and Turn Signals.. so that your F3 has a much higher chance of being seen by other motorists while out on the open road! I have the detachable back rest on my F3! Can I remove the rear luggage and re attach the backrest when I don’t need the rear luggage? I love this set up and the saddlebags! I’ve purchased quite a few items from you guys!
Hello Taku, thanks for your repeat business. Much appreciated! I'm not sure which detachable backrest you're running and how it's installed. Regretfully, I would be unable to answer that without testing your specific backrest. My apologies.
In regards to how secure they are, when on the bike, are they firm against the bike like the factory, or is there vibration. Looking at all models. Want/need the storage of the rt, but that price tag is going to keep me out of the market longer
Hello Shanda, there's no audible vibration. There is a tiny bit of movement on the bag latching system when mounted in place that's needed for the tolerance of the latch... but it's not something anyone has complained about.

@Slingmods Thank you, still worth it as the other 3rd part bags I have seen don't have the led's or the looks.
Just got this Sunday for my 2019 F3, the back bracket will not fit over the handgrips posts without the spacer, much less with......not sure who measured it but it's not usable.

do you have the saddle bag and trunk liners to go with this setup?
Not currently.. but that's something we're actually working on now.
So I assume the standard F3 cover won't work with this, do you offer a cover that will?
The standard F3 / F3s cover will not work with these bags installed. I would recommend the Full Cover for the F3 Limited since that bike comes with a top case and saddlebags. It wont' be an exact fit.. but it's close. That can be found here: www.slingmods.com/can-am-spyder-f3t-f3-limited-full-cover-ultragard
Can I still use my f3s factory backrest with the top case on. I want to use both top case and BRP backrest . Not interested in using the cushion on the top case. My BRP backrest is too expensive to give up.

Hello DJ, I completely understand that. Regretfully I do not believe your factory backrest will be compatible with this setup as the pad included on the top case was designed to act as the passenger backrest.
I had the same issue. It's either retaining the expensive passenger brp backrest or the topcase. I tried to salvage both but the case is offset by a couple of inches putting enormous pressure on the side support brackets which eventually snapped. (Note: These were not bought from slingmods but the same challenges would apply).
if i want to get the ultimate comfort seat...do you install bags first or seat first?

Yes.. we will be breaking this kit into just saddlebags and just a top case when our next shipment lands to us.

Hello Rory, these are currently not in stock at stuck in customs. We're unfortunately at the mercy of customs to release our shipment.. so I cannot provide you with an exact ETA at this time.
Are there bags without added the brake lights
Hello Charlotte, no there is not. If you do not wish to have the LED's on the bags illuminate you can simply skip the electrical wiring portion of the install. We have had some customers do that. Thanks!
