- This laundromat has been a huge learning experience for me and I have known there are some things we could do to bring in more revenue. We are trying one of those things this week and hopefully it does not backfire.

I have a new idea. Every time I collect coins I can talk about a new subject or answer questions from the previous video. Then I'm not just saying the same stuff over and over.

Hot tip !!!!! When the machine gets over soaked, add Downey. It’ll break down the soap immediately, Preventing your whole line from being being blocked up. Also, when you get a new cleaner, have them leave the soap fill flap open, Keep the machines from smelling like mildew!
Yep, fabric softener will cut the suds. Used it years ago in a carpet cleaning machine.
Household vinegar will cut the washer soap.
White Vinegar
Mr appliance says “Set the machine to a full load and allow it to fill with water before adding 2 cups of distilled white vinegar. Complete the wash cycle. Run a second rinse cycle to remove lingering residue. Repeat these steps if needed until no visible suds remain on clothing or the appliance.”
Cheap natural way to get rid of excess soap
For the excess foaming, get some powdered defoamer from a cleaning supply.
An idea. Take the labels off your trash can, put a Suds Up vinyl graphic on it.
Those soaped machines were some dummy not using the high efficiency soap with the little script e on them
Mark i just had an idea for the ceiling fans in the big laundromat. You could control them with a 120volt line voltage cooling only thermostat. That way they only kick on above a certain temp in the building and would shut off automatically. Again just a random idea i had off the top of my head.
I have seen powdered detergent put in a dryer at the hotel I stay at…why i have no idea. I actually go to the laundromat.
when refilling pop machine try putting cans top to top or bottom to bottom. avoid nesting the cans. this helps prevent the cans from catching on each other and jamming up
I know everything is low but it will pick back up. 👍🏽🙏🏽😊
I'm just glad there was something there because anything beats a blank. 😊
Here in California we pay .25 for 4 minutes ugh! But our gas is crazy expensive!
I still think that all things considered (bearing in mind the problems you've had with repair men and other things), you're not doing bad for someone new to a business of this type and still learning all about it.👍
You'll be laughing in a couple of years when you think back to all the problems you had at the start, and now everything is running like clockwork.🥳
Too bad your not closer to the east coast. I see so many great deals on quality used machines on marketplace. Just saw a bunch of Speed Queen stacking dryers like yours in great shape $400 a set.
You’re smart by suggesting to your landlord allowing your guys to resolve the issue with the AC.
you can bolt the snack machine to the wall which would prevent or stop people from shaking it
"Making progress..." Great! Too bad your maintenance guy doesn't seem to have an interest in learning to do the repairs here. That would be a big help to you :-) The Downey trick to get rid of the oversuds suggested below works! Vinegar (another suggestion below) will do it, too, but Downey smells nicer.
Downy fabric softener will stop oversud
Someone ripped off your "o" on the door!
Yah, first comment again. So happy to see this Saturday, 11am
Maybe you should leave vending go till end of month
No one wants to use a dryer with no heat. The clothes will never dry. I think they we’re playing with you. T
They do. Some clothes are super sensitive to heat. I saw her use no heat in the other dryers
The laundromats in my small town in SC have, usually a woman, on site all day. They take in wash, dry, and fold. This stops people from trashing the place.
The laundrettes in the UK have an attendant for service washers commercial and private.
Which of your businesses is the coin pusher at? Or is that no longer?
