Just a quick 1. If u grind down a slit in the end of metal bar u use to jack crane ect u wont have to tap it all the time...... just an idea. Thanks for all ur work on here really helping me out
Currently 1.8t swapping a 90 b3 Passat. In for any wiring help you have to offer after watching a few of your videos you have more knowledge on 1.8ts Great work on the videos 👍
Nice and thank you. I got a mk2 gti with a pg 8v g60, and I just picked up a 1.8t setup last weekend. I can't wait to swap it after building it up first.
couple of questions... the bolts for the rear bracket you said was off a mk4, is it mk4 engine mount bolts or something else? also the bracket you couldnt get a part number for, what was it off do you know? thank you!
The bolts i used are random ones I found i my mk4 bolt jar. The bracket I am using is for a G60 Corrado. All the brackets actually. You can use all the bolts off the corrado excpet for the front bracker. Youll need to drill out the threads and use the mk4 starter bolts. Youll also need a lock washer.and nut.
@@PincheALsGarage So if I just get the fabless manufacturing front bar, I dont need the g60 motor brackets you mentioned in the vid and can use the oem mk2 ones? Thanks.

Are the gti 8v ady mounts the same as g60 mounts same block etc ?
No they are not exactly the same.
Motor is a 5speed or 6 speed? Herad diferent things for this swap
5 speed
Thansk man by any chance you know if for 6 speed is the same proces?
No you need different brackets
@@PincheALsGarage cool thanks man
If the transmmision is automatic,
What bracket do you recommend?
I dont know since i never work with automatic cars
Does it work for the AWM 1.8t or just the AWP 1.8t?
Awm is passat motor and yes it will work but youll need AWP parts to make ot work
@@PincheALsGarage ok. same mounts though?
You have to use corrado g60 mounts
You can also use stock mk2 rear mounts and use Fabless Manufacturing front bar

would this be similar process for a golf mk1 ?
No because the mk1 you dont have a cross member
The transmission it's from the same engine 1.8t?
It's from an mk4 with a 1.8t
It's manual transmission?
How's the mk2 coming along?
Just waiting in $$$$ to get it painted
Sir i want contact with you
