They used to braze rads when I was a kid, 40yrs ago can't see why they don't still, Radweld used to last a good long time on pin pricks. Love your content, honest banter (that's from a proper Darzet boy!) Keep it up!
I see you on olly blogs wen he come look at the 10 furrow plough so I come and had look on your channel and i be watching your video from naw on keep them coming
Slightly off the subject but years ago I had an old Nissan 4x4 whose intercooler radiator went asked my Nissan dealer how much for a new replacement went onto his bloody computer £1300 just for the part. In the end went to this old gent who was riddled with Cancer, poor lad. He just upped the bonnet unbolted it, stuck it in an acid bath to clean it up having located the hole through as you say pressurising the system have stung bungs on each end Put a chemical weld and brazed it and tested it. Resprayed it black. Total £70. I am not that way inclined but I could have hugged the man. A real old pro.
Always useful to have an older spare tractor with plenty of gee gees on the farm. Doesn't cost anything sitting in the barn and is probably making money now. Could do with a few ton of your compost on my garden !!!!!
Great video Richard, keep them coming after Christmas, least you say it how it is , good honest straight talking, great to see the crops right through to harvest.
Great video Richard don’t get rid of the 7210 you’ll regret it if you do there a great machine drove a 7250 pro for years a absolute beast of a tractor
Great bit of ploughing always something breaking if it's being used 😬they used to repair radiator but no one sames to want to theses days 😬 Take care stay safe cheers 🐜 👍👍👍👍👍
I would rather run older tractors you can fix with spanner’s, to many electronics that you don’t need on new ones, love the magnum, propper tractors with real HP 👍🏻
Stick od of that magnum can't beat a Cummins engine pull like a train go on forever new stuff no end of electrical issues sensers and error codes and tractors like that 6480 are still a nice machine to drive
Another great video Richard, Loving the Magnum ploughing how is she on the front without any weights? I'm sure that Rad could be Brazed up maybe stick a bit of radweld in for good measure might just save on a lot of expense, I 'd stick with a modern classic line up, I 've heard of several farmers actually going backwards in replacing tractors because these new ones give a lot grief, I do hope you decide to continue with the videos after Christmas I think it's a bloody good channel with interesting content and I'm sure others would be interested as well, it's just a matter of getting people to know about your channel but I'm sure over time it will grow.
Thumbs up! Richard, thumbs up and sub! That case should be out doing a bit more lugging each year, blow the cobwebs out, at least when you're close to base. Could you explain the case dash, gearbox and driving it? as I know bugger all about the older case tractors.
looks like you got some issues with the transmission system pressure switch.......my guess would be the diaphragm in the swithc is leaking and pushing oil in to the connector and this is causing a poor connection and the intermittent flashing. The switch is located on top the transmission, take the mat and floor pan out, you will see two switches, one is a dumpy little one (trans lube press sw), the other is a longer bullet shape.....this is the trans system pres
Regarding the rad leak I put up a comment but I thinks its been deleted perhaps cos of the products name!! Bars Dog Turd. Supposed to be excellent product, worth a try to save £1000. Look forward to the videos every Sunday and Friday
Absolutely awesome seeing the magnum doing what she does best, I know what you mean about that j movement at the end of a run. I used to leave a big enough headland that I could turn without reversing, just knocked her down a few cogs, I got that from an older gent who drove a tw 35, but recalled seeing this and it looks like an easy switch. Thank you for all the time and effort you put in to making the vids please keep them up. th-cam.com/video/XegD0Cr7ohQ/w-d-xo.html
