quick tip: I do the shovel and farmer type exercises for manipulating a sword or axe for medieval combat. you want to super supinate and super pronate your wrists as much as possible when performing those exercises. Also if for the forward tilt you lower your hand so that your elbow is about 30Degrees and point your sword to the ground and then pull it up the weight from it's tip never lightens. it stays heavy throughout the motion. you will also want to hang it down your back and pop it up as vertical as you can without moving your elbow down or forward. further you can point it out at extension and draw zig zags vertically side to side write your name circles etc. Lastly you can point the lever at the wall and with either hand move your hand and arm in a U shape in front of you without moving the tip or the lever.

number 7 is my favorite. you guys can also train with a heavy pair of nunchucks. it is a great way to build wrist and forearm's flexibility and strength. and it is fun too.
I have 14 inch forearms, straight armed and unflexed. All these exercises are great I've trained them all. Try club bells, they are superior to several of the exercises shown, not to diminish or discourage any of them. Also increasing the diameter of the bar as you get stronger is helpful too.

I appreciate all your many suggestions, but for those with shoulders that aren’t as strong as they might think....beware! I tried the one-arm hang six months ago and it killed my shoulder, bursitis, rotator cuff, PAIN was the results.
