A tree had collapsed after the terrible winds of Canterbury. With this event, many others had collapsed as well. However, for this one, the 1998 SCANIA 94DB4X2 fire appliance was called in to inspect the damage and safety level of the tree's bend. It was considered safe, and they left. I got a nice up close look at this awesome vehicle, but I hope no one else gets hurt by these winds. It was so bad that a warning was issued, stating that roofs could be ripped off. Stay safe, everyone.
